Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Here's a review for those who, like me, are worried about jumping into such a big purchase. I was nervous about a handful of negative reviews about durability and compatibility. I have only had mine a few weeks so I'm not in the best position to comment on durability, but I can say that so far this has been very easy to set up and use and I haven't experienced any problems with getting it paired with Zwift. I connect it simultaneously with my cadence monitor and so far they have played very well together.
Now for the quality of the experience: It is no overstatement to say it has been one of my best cycling-related purchases ever. I used to dread indoor riding, but I bit the bullet and got this and it has been a huge game changer. Riding my old fluid (non-smart) trainer was like pulling teeth to go for 30-40 minutes. It was always painful, both physically and mentally. In contrast, this thing feels like I'm really riding on the road and an hour will pass without me even realizing it. I dare say it's even fun. If you're like me and on the fence, go for it. In case it's helpful to anyone, I am using a 10-speed Campy drivetrain and was able to find a conversion cassette (Interloc Racing) that has worked flawlessly.
