I hate flats

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

they're not the fastest or the easiest to change but then you don't need to change them often. l ride the streets of north Florida and have gotten good at changing flats but who wants to do that on the side of the road with no shade and 108 degrees with the heat index? picked up a nail yesterday but the tire saved my ass, nail missed the inner tube. these are worth the money and time

Familiarity: I've used it several times

l'm a 60 year old disabled vet, my ortho told me the more I ride the longer my knees will last. l've messed up both my wrist from crashing my bike on trails, l've had 5 elbow surgeries, both shoulders including reconstruction on the right, right ankle tightened and left knee cleaned out. that being said, l want as much padding as I can get. these gloves cover that requirement, very well padded. the only reason I didn't go with 5 stars is they are hot. l'm in Florida and it's hot & humid and I ride everyday, and usually carry extra gloves to change into dry. l will buy another pair probably, just wish the back was a lighter material

I tried a pair and the padding in actually in the right spots. l'm retired and ride everyday averaging around 45 miles depending on the weather. l'm in Florida so it's going to probably rain at some point plus it's hot and muggy. l am hard on my equipment. these gloves were as cool as you could expect and comfortable. I ordered a second pair but they came apart on the third ride. l would replace them but they're out of stock. if can get them, do

l'm 5'7" and went from 285 lbs to 200 lbs, at 60 years old, my body didn't bounce back. l carry a lot of loose skin and find shorts that fit is near impossible. Castelli is the brand for me, some styles anyway. l have the Velocissimos but the straps separate on my chest. l have the Volo and they are my go to, they fit. l live in the panhandle of Florida and now in July it's triple digit heat index with 70 to 90% humidity and 10 to 15 mph winds. l sweat my ass off and can't hardly keep my chamois cream on as it flows thru the Kiss chamois. l found a pair of the lnferno on ebay for $150 and thought l'd give them a shot. l ride in them and come home wash them and wear them the next day. l'm retired and ride everyday. today was the first 50 miler and they're washed for tomorrow's long ride. l just ordered another pair while they're on sale and may get one more pair. these are awesome, for me anyway and l definitely recommend them. the chamois hold the cream better, the perforated legs are cooler, and while l still sweat bad it's not as big an issue. if you ride through hell, ride in a pair of these

my Trek came with Bontrager R1, l upgraded to the R3 and was happy. deciding to try something different l bought a set of the Pro G plus. l loved them and l ride everyday, as l'm retired, that's my thing. l ride anywhere from 30 miles to 80 miles, depends on the weather, l'm in the panhandle of Florida, 75% humidity and triple digit heat index. l finally wore the tires out and put the R3's back on. two days later l ordered a another set of the Pros. it's my go to tire

l'm 5'7" 60years old and in the last 3 years l've gone from 280 lbs to 195lbs. at 60 the skin don't bounce back, l've got skin than hangs like a gut. finding a bib short that fits is not easy. l tried Pearl Izumi P.R.O. escape and pursuit in large and medium. no luck. l tried a couple cheaper suits, no luck. the Castelli Volo is perfect. l have 4 pair, l live in Fla Panhandle and l ride everyday and have no problems at all. l wish l had a biker's bod but that's just not happening
