Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Let me get this out of the way first, I like steep hard hitting technical stuff and I'm not willing to sacrifice traction by running more psi. These rims have held up to my abuse and given my bike the stiffness and response I need when I need it most. You won't regret these rims, nor will you ever question whether or not carbon is worth it again.

This bike is a beast. Lets make a list.
Pedalling perfomance: I was skeptical. Its a big bike and super slack. But I was blown away with how well this climbs. The DW link really keeps the bike in an upright climbing position without ever having to lockout the suspension.
Descending: This thing will make Moab chunky stuff seem like a smooth sidewalk. Bring on your scariest trails.
This is my first Ibis bike, and I think they have just made a customer for life.

I've been wearing these now for about half a season and love them. The full coverage and visibility is better than any glasses I've tried. And the ability to swap lenses in less than 30 seconds (I timed myself) is worth every penny. The only downside I have noticed: I have gotten them to fog when I am working super hard on a cold morning (think snow). They were quick to unfog themselves though.
