Familiarity: I've used it several times

I was looking for something that looked and felt like a road shoe so I didn't have to swap SPD pedals out when using the gravel bike on roadie rides. Didn't want to break the bank for such a silly niche use. These fit the bill.

I haven't tried them for any trail riding, but I don't think I'd like them for that. Don't seem like they will be comfortable or grippy for any hike-a-bike. Great for gravel and some flowy xc riding.

Note - sizing is a bit off. I wear a 9, and ended up with a 41 in these, which is what I would typically wear, even though the sizing chart for Northwave said US 9 - 40.5.

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Love the cherry pattern, and the chamois is good, but the fit is just off. Shebeest normally runs pretty big, but I needed a Large to go around my legs - the bands are just disproportionately tight to the rest of the short - so the upper "bib" part is too big. (Note: The coordinating top is standard Shebeest "runs big." I got a small and its too big). I've also noticed the pattern is starting to rub off where my leg rubs the saddle.

All in all, a fun change to plain black or sponsor logos across my butt. I'd buy them on sale for occasional rides, but I wouldn't recommend them at full price.

I love everything about this helmet - the cobalt blue color is great. I didn't notice the pattern in the pics (not sure why - seems pretty clear when I look at them now), but it's pretty sharp and fun. Nice also to have a women's helmet that isn't pink and/or covered with flowers - it's a women's helmet without looking girlie.

Fit is great, and love the light/GoPro mount. Fits really snugly and secure, which will be great on the 5% of rides when I want to mount something on my head, but is removeable and non-noticeable for the 95% of rides I do where I don't want some big contraption on my head.

Love this for several reasons -

The pocket on the side is big enough / stretchy / shaped right so that I can carry a gel flask with me. It has been seemingly impossible to find a water bottle holder that does this. I assume a phone would fit as well, but I've never tried.

It holds a standard water bottle easily. You don't have to use the specific one it comes with or fight to get it in/out.

The water bottle that comes with it is actually great.
