Better Than my Sworks
5 5

Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Ok, so I was supper skeptical about ordering shoes online. I typically don't like to buy without trying as I can't confirm proper figment. I read the limited reviews and info there is about this shoe and took a chance.

Being that these are essentially new there wasn't any info on how stiff they are, which was my major concern. As the title states I came from a Specialized SWorks shoe. As far as I'm concerned the stiffness is exceptional! Are they as stiff as walking on hard concrete? That's debatable, but they are plenty stiff. When you get up to sprint they put the power down right where it's needed.
These shoes are slightly heavier than my SWorks but a few grams isn't anything to worry about.

The fit on these animals are phenomenal! The moment I took them out of the box and slipped them on my feet I knew it was a match made in Olympus. If you don't like having to conform to a slim European foot profile then these are for you. A spacious toe box awaits! This was the feature that surprised me the most. I don't have wide feet... that I know of. Being able to have my toes just relax on a long endurance ride is great! I didn't get the normal enclosed feeling that I'm used to with my other shoes.

The BOA dial on these is a step back from the new BOA system available. You have to pull out the dials in order to loosen. I don't find this to be an issue as I typically ride lose on the warmup then tighten to the desired fit once ready.

This is a classic looking shoe with great new features. If your looking for a roomy shoe that offers all the same features as others that cost twice as much than this is it.
