This is a great helmet. It’s got a very comfortable fit without too much bulk. The venting is superb. I never felt hot in this helmet. Even in the most hottest summer days. I appreciate it’s lightweight. Once it’s on you’ll forget it’s there. Hugs the head and keeps in place with a light turn of the rear adjuster. The padding is super comfortable and well thought out. Not cheap or flimsy like so many others. The faux leather strap is superbly comfortable. Not bulky but soft and easy on the skin. I got the matte black and it looks really sharp. Quality product and comes with an equally nice storage bag that you can strap over your back or shoulder.

I love that it’s made really tough, good looking, perfectly organized for bike stuff. Whenever I travel with my bike gear this bag accommodates it all. Whether it’s the light gear of summer or the many multiple seasonal garments you need. It has plenty of pockets to store it all very smartly. They really put some thought into this bag. From the biggest to smallest thing it organizes it all. The multiple handles gives me plenty of options and the shoulder straps for carrying it on your back are by far the most comfortable I’ve used. It cleans up easy too.

It’s a quality product that you’ll be glad you invested in. I highly recommend it. Other gear bags just look lame next to it. Treat yourself.

I’ve had the original POC Octal for some time now and I love it. It’s a great helmet. This helmet improves on the model. It’s still a super light helmet that feels more substantial than most others in protecting your head. However, loses some of the bulk and the weird way the straps stuck out. It looks neater and less bulbous and the straps sit flush to the face. Which, works great with non-POC glasses. The eyeglass garage has even better grip than the previous version.

The Spin technology is a tremendous win for me. MIPS additional layer always seemed like an over done solution. SPIN uses existing pads with no added layer, heat, or discomfort. Great Job POC!

Sizing definitely is a little different than the Octal. I was using a large Octal. However, I was able to fit in the upper range of a medium in the Ventral. Which, I was cool with. It still has that POC look but The medium looks a little smaller on my head.

For being an aero helmet it vents very, very well. Even on hot days it is more than adequate. Those large front vents pull in plenty of air. I have a few helmets and this definitely my favorite. The white color is highly visible in those early morning or late afternoon low light conditions. It definitely my go to helmet during those times.

I've used SpeedPlay for years and I love them. No looking down just step and click in. It doesn’t get easier. They're on both my road bikes. Use them with a four hole SpeedPlay shoe and the lower stack height feels even better. These walkable cleats are a great upgrade to a great pedal system. Which, honestly I always felt it was kind of goofy that you had to walk on bare metal with the older ones and had to buy covers for them. The rubberized plastic cover over the entire cleat on this version makes a whole lot of sense. It stays in place, it’s durable, and keeps the cleats protected. Which eliminates the whole wearing out of the screw head issue the old versions had. Which, probably means replacing them less and just replace the housing alone when they wear. Making them a better value than the older exposed version.

Darn it though! Those twist off covers are my one disappointment with these. They come off too easily! It's too bad. The idea is awesome but they are more work than they're worth. I just leave them off and tuck them in my pocket. They do snap together nicely and are much smaller and easier to carry than the rubber covers I’ve used on the old version for years. However, unless I have to walk over gunk and want to avoid jamming them up, they will probably remain unused.

I give these walkable cleats five stars and subtract one for the lame twist off covers.

I've had quite a few rain jackets over the years and this is by far the best one I've had. Most of them did a poor to fair job managing sweat. With the RS.STURMPRINZ I never overcook with it. Year-round, I'm always sweat free. It's amazing how this jacket keeps the rain out and my micro-climate so perfect. Water shakes off very easily and never penetrates.

It's bulkier than the Equipe RS Rain jacket but still very manageable and will fold into in any back pocket. In fact, I appreciate that extra bulkiness in the winter. Where, if needed, it does a better job insulating as an outer layer than the Assos Equipe RS version. If you can afford both, than Equipe RS the better suited for the warmer temps, lighter, and less bulky to carry. But if you had to have just one for year round use look no further. the RS.STURMPRINZ is the one to get.

I understand the price point that Assos is trying to get to with the Mille line but, it seems like a compromise in function and comfort. With the exception of the équipe_S7 insert, it felt kind of plain vanilla for me without the multi-fabric panels of the TK.TIBURUKNICKER_S7. Which, makes for better fit and function that Assos is known for. This may be okay for some. As for me, I will be replacing them with the better performing non-Mille version when the time comes to replace them again.

These knickers, like all Assos and non-Assos shorts, get those annoying piles on the fabric as they wear in the crotch. The one exception I’ve ever found is the top-of-line T.CAMPIONISSIMO_S7. They wear like iron and are worth every cent.

I have been cycling for a long time and I have had many different bibs and these are the best I've ever worn. I know the price is a challenge for many but they are worth it. The penthouse for your junk and the type.444 material it is supremely comfortable and like nothing else I’ve seen. It’s interesting that Assos markets these bib shorts as not everyday bib short but to save them for those “special days”. I could not disagree more. For me, everyday on the my bike is a special day.

I’ve got more than one of these and they are the only bibs I use in the Summer and they hold up great for everyday use. I've put them through the wringer and I have not seen any wear on the bib short. Which is amazing! Even some of the other Assos shorts I own for other seasons eventually start getting those little fuzzy things where they contact the saddle. These do not! That type.444 material is very durable!

The Penthouse is a game changer. No other bib treats my junk so well and the breathable fabric along the front definitely aids in keeping you comfortable. The chamois stitched to the bib is an excellent idea and makes a real difference. They make the shorts extremely comfortable with not not much material to moving against your body. If you can spare the expense, save and shop for a good deal and get these. You will not regret it.

The built in base layer is amazing in the hottest and most humid conditions. Along with the very breathable back panel I don't ever get dripping wet in this jersey. It transports all moisture away and you never feel wet. The fit is aero yet comfortable. Never binding anywhere. Pockets are classic Assos - Sturdy, deep, never sagging when loaded.

My favorite thing about this jersey is that temperature is regulated efficiently with the zipper. I never got so hot that I needed to open it up completely. Unlike other jerseys I've owned over the years. Relief comes by just zipping down and letting the air flow as much as you want and it's like turning on air conditioning. If summer nights or mornings get cool zip up to the collar and the front panels amazingly have just enough wind-blocking properties to keep you warm. It's brilliant how they managed to do that. Warm when it gets cooler and cool when temperatures rise. Brilliant! I've worn nothing better so I bought all three available colors.

When the temperatures rise and the the humidity is high this helmet vents and cools better than any I've ever had. I agree with the POC design philosophy to bulk up the head in key areas. I can see where it's a bulky look for some. But if the head ever hits the pavement, those tired old typical swept back/top covering helmets you see with most manufacturers seem like unsubstantial protection for your whole head to me. The eyeglass garage grips are fantastic! It's something that all helmets should have. I feel very confident putting expensive specs in them every every time. The helmet is also very lightweight. You’ll forget you are wearing it. I got the white color for the visibility.

I originally ordered the white version but returned it because it did not look good on me. I exchanged it for the black one and it looks a lot better. It’s an aesthetic thing so white may look good on others. Just, not on me. Otherwise, it is my go to Jersey when the temps and humidity is really high. The fit is perfect. No flapping shoulders. The pockets are robust and and roomy. The usual quality pockets found in any Assos jersey. I even have carried the SturmPrinz rain jacket in the center pocket. Although, it’s a very light weight jersey the jacket and all my other items are held secure and don’t move.

It is a lightweight (Superleggera) jersey. Don’t expect it to be effective if the temps get cool as the suns drops or temps suddenly drop. It has minimal wind breaking capability. It has highly breathable fabric all the way around. It’s a hot summer garment. If the rain jacket goes on it’s like having a no sleeves baselayer. Which is nice for controlling body temps with a rain jacket in hot rainy weather.

The front pocket is a really nice touch. I use it for wrappers and gels. However, everything in the pockets shows through the light weight weave fabric. But that’s the price you pay for lightweight breathable jerseys. I highly recommend this jersey for any hot Summer ride. If the temps cool down and you require wind protection go for the Assos Camponissimo Jersey instead. It has a built in hot summer base-layer and will zip up to block some wind if needed.

There is a lot to love about these gloves.
- They keep hands dry and warm
- Work great as a cold weather glove too when used with Tiburu gloves as liner.
- Feel awesome on the handebars. Plenty of grip, cushion, and comfortable.
The only complaint I have is that the black dye used by Assos comes off when wet and make a mess of your tape. One of my bikes has red Lizard skin tape that was ruined. I’ve left the tape that way and I am washing the glove after every use hoping that the excess dye will wash out and I’ll re-tape. If you have black handlebar tape then knock yourself out these gloves perform great.

It packs away to a size that fits in your fist so don't worry about it taking up room in your pocket. I was kind of annoyed that it did not fold away into itself into some kind of self-contained pocket. Until, I realized that pulling it out on the bike and putting it on is easier without unpacking it. You just pull it out and it unfurls like some big tissue. Wicked easy to put on. Pretty smart Assos. It does however flap on the shoulder in the wind like some reviewers mentioned. It's my only gripe. It doesn't annoy me that much but they do need to make the shoulder holes a little tighter. Like all Assos products it's made very well and like many of their tops it's designed with great wind shielding properties up front and vents extremely well where it's suppose to. Adjusting the zipper will dial in the right temperature for you every time.

I upgraded everything that could be carbon on my bike and the Enve stem and handlebar is a no brainer. I already have Enve wheels so any other cockpit brand on my bike would have looked silly. The fit and finish is absolutely gorgeous. Honestly, for the cost they are not that much lighter than good lightweight aluminum. However, nothing looks as good and makes the cockpit look this sweet. Enve carbon products look amazing and are the best I've used. It did muffle road chatter some and they are plenty stiff when pulling on the stem and bars. I highly recommend.

There are many good options for clean technical and delicate clothing. I will admit that the Assos stuff is expensive. However, I prefer it. I purchase it in the larger bottle to get the best value. It’s got the perfect amount of strength to clean and sanitize your garments every time you ride without getting that oversaturated with detergent feeling that hinder fabric performance. It’s does not require very much to quickly clean your typical sweat and dirt. Where I think the Assos detergent requires a little more is in treating spots and stains. It may take a couple direct application on spots to get stubborn spots out. Other “gentle” detergents deal with spots quicker. But, I know they are not as gentle in preserving the clothing. I’m okay with that because most of time what you want for your premium garments is a gentle antibacterial wash to clear out the sweat, salt, and dirt so they don’t infect and eat away at the fabric. This detergent does that very well and the scent is very pleasant and stays in the clothing for a long, long time. I love it.

I guess I could have went with any out front computer mount. However, with so much invested in an ENVE carbon cockpit using any other brand is just silly. It's a quality mount for the money. One that is very sturdy and a perfectly mates with the ENVE stem. I use a Wahoo computer so it required replacing the insert and installing a Wahoo compatible one. Which was easy to do and worked perfectly.

My cycling computer needs are simple. Speed, time, and distance. The fact that this unit pairs with my phone is a real plus. The text and phone call notifications are very handy. It’s a great value for the price with the speed sensor, However, I also purchased the Wahoo heart rate monitor and cadance sensor to go along with it. I’ve had no connectivity issues and it works very well. The phone app is a real added bonus. It’s wicked easy to use and tracks your location map using your phone’s gps and your metrics are presented in a very clear and comprehensive way. Including, laps. I really like the app!

If live segments and power meters are not your thing then this is your unit. It has the basics covered and then some.

This has been my goto chamois creme for many, many years. Save yourself the trouble of trying the other products out there. The quality and performance of this Assos product is unmatched. It really protects your skin and provides superb anti-bacterial coverage no matter how long the ride. It is safe to use with your expensive gear and washes off very easily without staining or ruining your stuff. It's got that perfect consistency too. Soothing and not oily.

This garment goes on tight but very comfortable. It’s supposed to go on as a second skin and it does. But, never at the cost of comfort. The material is top quality and beautifully designed. It’s a pleasure to wear. It does a outstanding job at managing body temp. I wear it with my Assos IJ.Bonka jacket. I was able to go from wearing three layers for the winter with my old non-Assos gear to just the two for the winter.

It never feels wet when you’re riding but when your done and your take it off it feels like a wet blanket. Which is amazing! It somehow uses body moisture to regulate temp and keep your skin dry. Assos knows their stuff. Even at the premium price I highly recommend it.

Quick update: I've since gone and ordered more, and have been using, all the base layers Assos makes and the flexibility I now have mixing and matching depending on the weather is priceless. The right garment with the right base layer combination is easy to achieve and always right on. So worth it.

Let me start by saying that this is the most I’ve ever paid for any wheel set. I had an opportunity to get them at a good price but the purchase still seemed like an indulgence. That’s until I got to ride them! Man, are they worth it!

The first thing that blew my mind was the acceleration. These wheels get up to speed real quick! With less effort than I’ve ever experienced. Once your cruising along these puppies seem to just coast effortlessly. They didn’t turn me into Mark Cavendish but I really can’t see myself riding my bike without them. They feel that good!

I waited a while to put a review out there because I wanted to put them to work. I’m 6’1” and weigh more than 95 kg (>209 lbs) so I wanted to see how they hold up. ENVE puts no weight limit on them because of how they construct them. It’s one of the big reasons I chose them. Other manufacturers had weight limits and did not offer the differing wheel sizes the SES system does. Years not months will tell, but they feel sturdy and strong. I feel no give when I’m powering through or leaning into turns. I feel confident riding them.

I also wanted to make sure that I tested them in strong crosswinds. I have some Zipp 30 aluminum clinchers that get twitchy in strong winds so I was a little concerned about these deeper wheels. I have to say that 99% of the time the wind doesn’t mess with them at all. In one particularly windy day I felt some very slight pushing on the front but the bike just tracks safely when they get pushed. I never get the twitchyness areo wheels are known for and I’m always in full control. I’m very impressed how well they perform.

Overall, this was a dream purchase for me. Based on faith that the product would deliver on it’s promises and I am not disappointed. They sure bring the bling factor. These are great looking quality built wheels. With performance to backup the bling.
