Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

I wanted this pack to work for me! My husband has the Manta 36L and after trying it on several times I wanted a day-pack with the Anti-Gravity (AG) system. This pack can carry an amazing amount of stuff while feeling super light due to the AG system. It didn't work for me because I will not always be carrying a bunch of weight in the pack. I intended, on the light-weight end to be carrying lightweight rain gear (top and bottom), a full hydration bladder, lunch, a warm jacket, and a camera. With only that much stuff in the pack (I have the exact same bladder from another pack and used it filled to test with) the hip belt kept riding up to my waist while wandering around my house. When I added another 10-15lbs the pack stayed where it is supposed to. If you intend to use it with only a light load, test it before heading out on your journey. I didn't try the smaller sized Mira AG 26L because I read a review on the Osprey website that said that the pack rode up. Also, when my husband purchased the Manta AG 36L he also tried the Manta AG 28L. The AG system on the 28L had a significantly smaller waist, the portion directly above the hip belt, that was uncomfortably tight on him and on me - we are both small, thin people (he wears pants with a 28" waist). Both Manta packs he tried were sized S/M and I tried the XS/S, the same size as my Osprey Kyte 46L.

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

My straw lid does not leak and does not suck air. I read lots of reviews prior to purchasing and the ones that reported trouble, on the Hydroflask website, were responded to by the Hydroflask folk. Just let them know and they will provide you with a new improved one :-) It sure is LOTS easier to drink from the straw lid than directly from the bottle while driving, walking, or moving at all. I found that when my bottle, full of COLD liquid, is on it's side that it will collect condensation. That does not happen with the normal lid. So, I am assuming that it is not as good an insulator as the normal lid. No problem for me as I drink all my liquid prior to it getting warm anyway. That said, even with the straw lid, I have had liquid stay cold for more than eight hours in 90F heat.
