- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Competitive cyclist shipped a defective product with a damaged screw hole thread, so the mounting mechanism is too loose. I can't use it without spilling coffee over myself in the middle of a ride. And they want me to pay $7 shipping to return to correct their mistake.

Just bought a second one for my wife
- I've put it through the wringer
- True to size
I have had this on my Surly LHT for 4 years now. Absolutely adore it. This will hold most conical coffee cups. My coworker Matt is correct in his review that this doesn't hold a can but it's not intended to. (pro-tip: this works with the Hydroflask 16 or 22 oz tumblers with any type of beverage *wink) I just bought a smaller circumference mount for my girl's skinny handlebars on her vintage mixte' and it fits perfectly too. Always happy to buy more Portland Design Works products. I now have 10 of their lights, the Sparrow bottle cage on my girl's cruiser, and 2 of the Bar-ista Coffee Cup Holder

Not for me.
I purchased this with high hopes and sadly was a little let down. This held a coffee cup just fine. However it didn't fit well over my bar tape and was not able to hold an aluminum can. For these reasons I had to return it. If you are solely looking to hold a coffee mug on a bike with no bar tape then this is what you're looking for!

Matthew it does say Coffee Cup Holder. It wasn't designed to hold Aluminum Cans . I found the item quite sufficient. Also it IS adjustable. I found it slipped over my bar tape quite easily

I bought this to complete my wife's townie. Her bike is already cool as, but when I saw this, I had to buy it. Super cool, and looks great. The inside of the holder has a nice foam lining to give extra grip on the portable coffee mug, and also to prevent any scratches on it too. I'm a big fan and so is she.
