See it all.
POC introduced the all-new DO Half Blade Sunglasses to its eyewear line at the 2015 Giro as a way to offer the riders on Team Cannondale-Garmin a wider field of vision. Initially, the team version of the glasses was only released in Cannondale green, but POC is celebrating the creation of Team POC + Ritte with a special edition version of the glasses in those team colors, too.
Like the DO Blade, the DO Half Blade frames are constructed with a synthetic blend called grilamid, which keeps their weight low and durability high. The oversized Zeiss lenses receive anti-fog treatments to keep your vision clear during muggy climbs and are easily interchangeable with other POC lenses. Hydrophilic rubber inserts at both the nose and temple make sure the glasses stay in place without slipping while you're in and out of the saddle.
Both the oversized lenses and the absence of a bottom frame in this design improve lower and peripheral vision while you're on the road. The lenses also boost vision with a tint that increases contrast to help ensure that you're prepared for approaching rough patches or rocks in low-light conditions or while passing through shadows.
Complete your kit by pairing these sunglasses with POC's Octal Helmet — the arms are designed to fit smoothly under the helmet at the temples while you ride during the day or in the sunglasses garage in case you're out past dusk.
