Soo small

These helmets are rad! But it's extremely small. Real tight on the temple. I bought a M/L and couldn't even get it on. Unfortunately they don't have an XL

I was excited to see the POC Kortal helmet go on sale (non-MIPS) because I always wanted one but their price were always above average. So when I saw they went on sale I grabbed one. When the order arrived, I wasn't disappointed at the quality and feel of the actual helmet. I've own Bell, Giro and Fox all good helmets on their own, but the POC exuded quality and better strapping and padding materials. Unfortunately, the fit is not consistent with their size chart. I ordered the medium after looking up their size chart but the actual helmet could not accommodate my round head. It's more for oval shape heads and even with the adjustable fit, it's a no go. I have to send it back for an exchange to a large and now their sale is over.

Size not the same as other POC helmet

The Kortal ran on the smaller size. I purchased a medium size (54-58) as I have another POC helmet that ran medium (55-59). However on trying it on, the Kortal was way smaller and placing pressure on the side of forehead and temple.

For $200 you get what you pay for. Nice helmet. Good fit. Comfortable and secure. For less than half the price I paid for the POC Mips helmet you can get a Giro Mips Helmet that looks and feels the same and comes in nice bright colors.
