If we were told we could only ride one bike for the rest of our lives, it'd probably be the Pivot Switchblade. A true all-mountain bike, every detail on the Switchblade is optimized for conquering any mountain—up or down—regardless of variations in terrain and difficulty. Big mileage days on undulating desert singletrack, high-alpine epics on Colorado ridgelines, and day-to-day trail rides on our local network—the Switchblade does it all well. 160mm of fork travel pairs with 142mm in the rear, all driven by the ultra-efficient, supportive, yet remarkably plush DW-Link suspension platform. This model comes decked out with an XT/XTR Pro build with DT Swiss carbon wheels for a spritely feel that won't shy away from lengthy rides in technical terrain.
The Pro build pairs a Shimano XTR rear derailleur with an XT shifter, chain, and cassette. FOX Factory suspension keeps your tires glued to the ground when the going gets rough, while the powerful XT 4-piston stoppers and meaty Maxxis rubber help you scrub speed before dropping into a rowdy chute. Pivot also equips this bike with a Transfer Factory dropper with Kashima coating that matches the suspension, with each frame size getting long dropper posts thanks to the frame's short seat tube and standover height.
*Due to unprecedented demand in the global supply chain and the bike industry over the last 18 months, material weight and exact components are subject to change. We are working diligently to keep tech specs updated, and any adjustments will be minor. If you have any questions, reach out to a Gearhead by chatting online or calling 1-888-276-7130.
