Why We Like The P Zero Race Tire

Built light for smooth roads in any weather condition the Pirelli P Zero Race Tire is what we're putting on for this weekend's road race or intense training ride. With as much history in the moto world as Pirelli has, making a fast, light, and grippy bicycle tire is right up their alley. We're using this supple race tire during the weekday race scene and other big events on the weekends.

Fast, durable, and easy to mount/remove

I have not yet made the jump to tubeless, and have run Conti Grand Prix for 30 years prior to this. The latest TLR models are impossible to get on/off my HED or Zipp rims, so I switched to Pirelli's. After well over a year, in all conditions, and multiple sets, these feel fast and have excellent grip. Mileage has been very good (not quite as good as my last GP5000s), and while they seem quite durable on our typical trash roadways, it always feels like they aren't quite the Conti's I had before, and therefore 4 stars. Yes, they cost a bit more, also, but I'm willing to pay that to be able to get them on/off the rim without worrying about either damaging another carbon rim, or having to cut the tire. I also love the 26 size, since my bike will not fit 28's.
