The full Pioneer package.
Pioneer developed its new Color Touchscreen Cycle-Computer, also known as the SGX-CA900, to display all of you metrics in an easy-to-read and operate system. The unit seamlessly pairs with its power meter package, giving you instant feedback at your cockpit in terms of power output, pedaling efficiency, and many other essential metrics.
The full-color LCD Cycle-Computer is part of Pioneer's new Pedal Monitoring System, which displays power output for each leg, independently, as well as where that power is being applied. These metrics are displayed graphically on the screen, with red arrows indicating contributing torque, and blue arrows indicating losses. The reason Pioneers does this is fairly straightforward — even if the total power is high, if the blue arrows are large, some of the rider's power is being wasted. Conversely, even if the total power is low, many red arrows show pedaling is effective, and little power is being wasted. This gives you an exact visual representation of how effective your pedaling is, in a real-time, out-in-front format.
Pioneer included six preconfigured screens, each featuring six presets that display a range of one to nine metrics at a time. You're able to turn individual screens on and off, as well as being able to customize the screens to your liking. And, like a smartphone, simply swipe left or right to move to the next screen, and tap the box for any metric to make it expand. This operation sequence makes it simple to navigate while on the road, which also bypasses the multiple menu screens that so many computers are plagued with.
After the ride you're able to upload your log data to Pioneer's cloud-based Cyclo-Sphere website, which is an online training center that lets you analyze left and right side pedaling efficiency, power, and force vectors, among other types of data displayed in easy-to-understand graphs and numerical displays.
The Pioneer Color Touchscreen Cycle-Computer is ANT+ compatible, has a built-in GPS receiver, and it comes with a handlebar bracket, Mini USB cable, safety strap, and user manual. The unit has a claimed weight of 126 grams, excluding the bracket, and it comes with a 2-year warranty.

- Familiarity: I've used it several times
This product looks like it is not supported by Pioneer anymore. The firmware hasn't been updated since 9/2014 and it noes not have features (Di2 integration) that are advertised on its website. Save yourself the money and buy the CA500 if you have a Pioneer power meter. They're still updating it and it has everything that is advertised on the website.
Furthermore, I'm extremely disappointed in Pioneer's customer service. I wrote them three times to inquire about the above issue and it has been over a week without a response. After a good experience with the consumer supplied crank power meter kit they've really gone and soiled the brand for me with this experience.
I have ordered this along with the Pioneer power meter. Other than an ANT+ HR strap, will I need to additionally purchase any other items to fully utilize this computer's functions (e.g., speed and cadence sensors)?
Will pioneer come forward with a Campy...
Will pioneer come forward with a Campy version?
Search "PIONEER POWER METER INSTALLATION KIT FOR CONSUMER SUPPLIED CRANKS". You need an alloy crank such as potenza crankset, and ship it to pioneer for they to install for you.
