Hitting the trail all day may lift your spirits, but hours in the saddle on rocky and rooty terrain can be abuse to your sit bones. Fortunately Pearl Izumi is here to save the day, and your rear end, with the Select Liner Shorts for women. - SELECT Escape chamois cushions your sit bones
- Breathable smooth mesh body wicks away sweat

runs little bit small, but great
runs little bit small, so better if you buy one size bigger. but the feeling and the fabric is very nice and feels very comfortable. The classic biker shorts are always so uncomfortable for me. i tried a lot of classic biker shorts and liner shorts. But this liner shorts is perfect for me. my husband has also the mens liner shorts, and he feels the same like me. next time i will buy the men liner shorts for me, because the have a larger padding. I tried the mens version and they fits also very great.

Seemed OK...
- Fit:
- Runs small
- Size Bought
- Medium
- Height
- 5` 8"
- Weight
- 140 lbs
I am a medium for almost all types of clothing in every brand, but these mediums were uncomfortably small and I unfortunately had to return. Seemed like a quality product as far as I could tell without a test run, but definitely order a size up of what you usually wear.

Eh, not so much
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
Normally a huge fan of Pearl Izumi and have lots of their road gear, but these shorts were too compressive and seemed to run smaller than usual. Returned them and now trying to find a really lightweight pair that fit better.

Not my favorite, not bad either
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
I have these shorts in size small, and I'm about 114 lbs and 5'3", The waistband is quite tight, but the chamois itself is really comfortable. They are very high waisted, and the waistband hits just an inch or two below my rib cage when I wear them, which is not my favorite feeling in the world. I love the lightness and comfort of the chamois, and the ventilation is fantastic. These really do a great job on shorter rides. Really, my only gripe is the waistband. I also have a pair of Patagonia Dirt Craft shorts and the included chamois, and I have been spoiled by the front of them being really lightly elasticized rather than all the way around like these. I would love to combine the chamois of these with that waistband! I have said waistband so much more than any one person should at one time.

Butt comfort elsewhere
- Familiarity:

After primarily using my Club Ride chamois and then realizing I had this pair I wore these for a 2hr road ride and they sucked. I was saddle sore and just was wanting to get home and rip these off. My Club Ride Montcham are like sitting on a comfy couch. You forget your even wearing a padded diaper. Wasn’t impressed at all with the pearl Izumi shorts. Fit feels off. Butt bone hates them. I tossed em. Waste of my money.

My First Chamois
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
Getting into mountain biking this summer, decided that I needed a chamois. I like the fit of this one and the padding is great. For being a pretty decent price, they are comfy and do a great job protecting your buns from those hard mountain bike seats. They do run a little small. 5'8-115llbs, I ordered a small.

Great fit

Who knew buying a chamois would be so hard? I've bought several different kinds in the past and haven't liked any of them. I really thought I just needed some padding and that would be it, but the fit makes a huge difference. I really like how these ones feel. My original intent was to buy one pair to see how they feel and buy more if I liked them. Needless to say, I will be buying more of these. The length is perfect for me (5'4") (I've bought some too long and too short in the past) and the padding has worked well for longer, cross country rides.

These liners are super comfortable. Feel like I'm wearing padded yoga shorts. Good for longer rides. I'm 5'7, 140 lbs, 27' waist, and ordered a M.

Solid liner shorts. No complaints

They're liner shorts... not sure how one can rave about bike underwear. Fit well and get the job done. Nice chamois. Thin enough to fit under baggies - no chafing.

Since the day Pearl Izumi released some of the newer style, breathable "mesh" liners, all of my previous purchases have either been discarded or are still sitting on the bottom shelf. Snug--not sloppy--how you'd want a cycling layer, quality feel and well designed pad. With this particular pad, I see why they give it the thumbs up for longer rides--it seems to be a little more padded than I had been looking for in my everyday short-medium rides; I'll be keeping it for both longer rides and occasionally the shorter ones too.
