The first time I wore these shorts, I wondered how my ride would go. Two hours later, as I put my bike back on my car rack, I realized I had not thought about my shorts once while riding. I had no discomfort or any other problem with the shorts. Materials and workmanship seem good also.

Just work. Fit is good (waist and hem stay put), they're comfortable enough, and they look as pictured (it's hard to mess black up, thankfully). Padding is a bit basic or flat compared PI's higher-end offerings, but it's still more than good enough.
