Pro Bib Short
Long days in the saddle call for the Pro Bib Shorts from Pearl Izumi, keeping you comfortable for the duration of the ride. Crafted with highly technical fabrics and a refined fit, the Pro Bib Short simply disappears and lets you focus on the road ahead. Pearl Izumi outfitted this bib short with its supportive, breathable, and women's-specific PRO Escape 1:1 chamois and ultra-soft Italian PRO Transfer fabric creating a short that will be your go-to throughout the season. Up top, the wide, laser cut bib straps sit softly against your body, resisting twisting and binding for a comfortable, supportive fit. Raw edges at the hems create smooth transitions from the short and your skin and it looks as good as it feels. Finally, leg openings get a printed silicone gripper to hold them securely in place throughout the ride.

I like bibshorts with a lot of compression. These are extremely thin and don’t have that. The chamois is very good quality and I was hoping for the Attack level compression and quality fabric. I had to upgrade to Pro because the Attack bibs dropped in quality. I have velocio bibs which also let you use the bathroom, but they are $239 before tax and rarely go on sale. I’m not sure why the Pearl Izumi shorts are $200 as they are made in a factory- the velocio shorts are hand made in Italy. These bibs are crazy comfy though and would be perfect for a really hot day. They’re so thin I wouldn’t mountain bike in them. They ride up with leg warmers. Had to knock off a star because I think they’re overpriced in comparison to other high end bibs and the older model, higher quality attack bibs.

I own several pairs of bibs but have none I'm able to conveniently take care of business in. These bibs work as described and make wearing bibs very nice. The only issue I have is with the clip in font. I have an athletic build and I don't see any reason for the clip. I ordered the Glazier/Navy Wish Small Jersey to go with the Blue bibs and had to exchange it for a Medium. The kit looks fantastic. I will be buying more.

This was my very first pair of bib shorts, and they are amazing. I've since purchased some less expensive Pearl Izumi bibs, and there is no comparison. The laser cut leg means no sausage leg, and the length is just perfect for me (not too long, not too short. The straps are also very comfy and hardly noticeable while riding. I like the innovative design of the back of the bibs, which works great for a nature break. These are great bibs!

There''s no comparison to these! Very comfy chamois, there's coverage in the front while not being overly bulky or being uncomfortably wide. I rode in these new ones for just about a week and was convinced they were the perfect ones for me - ordering two more pairs to have on hand. Now own 2 blue and 1 pair of black, picking them over my POC bibs every time just because how they feel in the seat. The material is so soft and smooth, and I love the very plain design - looks very understated without a bunch of decorations/lines/seams/extra colors. They lay very nice on the skin, no pinching at all around the legs, but they stay put - just ride and forget about them. I have a round seat cushion but slim thighs and immediately had to exchange the Mediums for a Small, if that's helpful to you. These bibs did not squeeze across the chest at all, and the straps lay completely flat and quiet over the shoulders. The blue color is pretty - a little brighter appearing than on the website pictures - I like it, and ordered the blue matching mesh jersey to match :) Pit stop without having to take off the jersey was a snap. Thrilled I found these bibs! Make sure to order them snug!

GET THE KIT!

This kit makes me feel like a superstar. I love the minimal paneling on the bottoms and the clean comfortable feel of the material. Paired with the Mesh jersey, I feel stylish and COOL. I wear this kit under my MTB Baggies in the woods, on my mixed-surface gravel shreds, and long road climbs. The chamois stays in place and offers protection where you need it without huge bulk in places you don't. I am most impressed with the straps. I am a little taller and thought the straps would not be long enough for the bathroom stops, but I was pleasantly surprised at the sheer ease of the strap design. The design of the silicone leg grippers and the raw edge complete the sleek look for an overall great fit and feel. If you remember these guys from the website, here are some photos of me wearing the whole line, M,M in all!
