Active moisture management and pressure relief.

Turn any shorts (anything baggy enough to drape over) into a pair of comfortable trail shorts when you're wearing the Pearl Izumi Women's Liner Short underneath. This padded liner short features a lightweight blend of polyester and elastane for optimum moisture management and stretchable performance. Its integrated Women's MTB 3D Chamois leverages 37.5 Minerale polyester (formerly Cocona) for enhanced moisture-wicking and evaporation.

By embedding active carbon particles into the chamois itself, built-up moisture is spread over a much larger surface area (up to 800 percent) for rapid evaporation. This not only prevents moisture build-up, but it also keeps you riding comfortably without irritation or chafing. The integrated chamois also features Pressure Relief Tech for optimized bloodflow when you're cranking out serious miles on the trail.

Solid, no nonsense, liner

  • Size Bought: Small

Solid, basic, liner. Lightweight and cool. I was nervous that the mesh material would stretch out while riding, but in the 4 rides I have done with these, they seem to be holding up well. I have an older re: 2012 ish version of these same liners that I liked enough to want a newer pair. The only recommendation I would have is the waistband could be made thinker, which I think would make them a little more comfortable and forgiving in the waist.

Great price for a great product!

I purchased these bike shorts for my girlfriend who is just getting into mountain biking. These are a great basic piece of gear that no one should go without. They have changed her mountain bike experience for the better! No more soreness!

Pearl Izumi's padding has yet to fail me, but I have always worn the road specific shorts under my mtb shorts. I finally picked up a pair of these, and they have the same great padding as the road shorts, but breath so well under mtb shorts due to the mesh-like material! The fit is spot on, and very comfortable, (No mid-ride adjusting), and the waist band sits at a great height without cutting into my hips. I had to buy another pair! These fit true to size for Pearl Izumi shorts.

I bought these to wear under my Yeti shorts while mountain biking. I have no complaints about them so far. The padding is perfect and doesn't make you feel like you're wearing a diaper. The fit is a little tight, but I don't think the medium would have fit me. The only complaint I have about these is that the legs ride up a little while biking.

Great fit....and it protects
