The Pearl Izumi men's Bib Liner Shorts turn all of your favorite baggies into kit that will keep you comfortable for however long you spend out on the trails. We know, the liner looks awfully close to roadie Lyrca, but trust us, nothing beats bibs when you're spending hours in the saddle. Pearl Izumi uses a stretchy, form-fitting blend of polyester and spandex to construct the liner, giving it a contoured fit that won't feel bulky under a pair of outer shorts — baggy or slim. The bib straps themselves disappear under a loose jersey, and they're made out of breathable mesh to keep you cool on long climbs or exposed trails.
While bib straps and fit are important, the ELITE Pursuit 1:1 Chamois is responsible for most of the comfort and relief the Bib Liners provide. Breathable, layered foam stands between you and every rock, root, and bump you hit on the trail, and with the contoured fit of the rest of the liner, you can rest assured that the chamois will stay in place as you ride. Gripper-free legs promise to stay in place without chafing or pinching, while an assortment of pockets give you room to store whatever you don't want to leave at the trailhead.

FINALLY!
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
I've gone through a lot of bib liners over the past few years and FINALLY found something that works. Comfort & durability have been an issue. This is the most comfortable pair I have found. There is no tight rubber grip around your leg and it breaths and moves with your body very well. I can hardly tell I have it on. The chamois is not super thick but, it's fine paired with a comfortable saddle. I ride 3 to 5 times a week and it seems to be holding up well through multiple wash cycles. I liked them so much I just bought another pair. A++

Great bib liner
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
- Fit: True to size
- Size Bought: Large
Lightweight, breathable, 3 pockets in the back and the chamois is good. Not a great chamois but I've ridden many an hour in it and I've never had any real complaints. Best MTB bib liner I've found thus far. Only wish is that the pockets were a little bigger.
Thin Chamois
- Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
The chamois on these bibs is extremely thin and is more in line with what would be expected on an entry level bib short. The rest of the bib, material and construction appeared to be quality.
One of the better liners on the market
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
- Fit: True to size
This is the first pair of Pearl Izumi shorts i've purchased in a while, and mainly did so as the selection of nicer liner bib shorts on the market is very limited. I bought these mainly to carry an additional water bottle on the back straps underneath the jersey, but was pleasantly surprised to find additional pockets around the thighs that you could potentially stick something like energy gels into. The chamois was decent and acceptable for its purpose.
