Cush and stability like yin and yang.
Maximum cush meets mid-level stability in the Pearl Izumi Women's EM Road M3 V2 Running Shoe. Pearl Izumi tuned the shoe's dynamic offset E:Motion midsole for mid-foot pronation and a heel-to-toe transition. Energy Foam cushions the forefoot and heel upon impact and returns energy at each step-off. Pearl Izumi also added a high-density medial post for increased stability and pronation control, and the blown rubber sole uses carbon rubber in high-impact areas for enhanced durability and abrasion-resistance. The seamless upper provides smooth comfort and a surprising amount of support.

gr8 toebox, true to size
- Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
- Fit: True to size
- Size Bought: 6.5
I feel it runs true to size - I have enough room that my feet are not stuffed front to back, but have some space. Two things that will lead me to return these (no matter how much I'm willing them to work :) is 1) They are not wide enough in the forefoot for me (reason for 4 stars). I would venture to say these are NOT narrow (probably are a Medium), and are most likely like most running shoes. However, I am finding that my feet can't do the regular size anymore, they need more room. The tightness is the sides of my forefoot. I don't think going up a 1/2 size would make a big difference for me personally. 2) There is some space in the arch area where the shoe is not flush on my skin. Only thing that might be affecting it is that maybe my forefoot is so wide that it has stretched the instep out. My feet are quirky. I like the toe box shape (rounded). I really liked the lightness of them, the breathability capacity, the comfort level (high cushion). But because my feet are too wide for them I have to return them. I would recommend these though! They are worth giving a try!
