More elite.

While we certainly had no complaints with the previous generation of the ELITE Gel Full-Finger Gloves, Pearl Izumi went ahead and updated them, anyway. The basic premise is the same — lightweight, breathable coverage that keeps your fingers protected from brush and your palms glued to bars — but the inner palms are now smoother and the overall construction has fewer seams. That makes for fewer catch points to irritate hands, aiding the ELITE Gel padding in its efforts to keep your grabbers comfy on chip seal, gravel, lumpy 'cross courses, and light singletrack. The new model also includes conductive thumb and index finger tips, so you'll enjoy smartphone interactivity on par with the sharp lever feel afforded by the synthetic palms.

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I wear them daily and they are great! Lightweight and breathable - not for warmth but for padding.

Awesome winter gloves

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

Bought these for my dad for Christmas to replace a pair of old full finger Pearls from a few years ago. He's stoked to break these out on his next ride and had the following to say:
"These are awesome, the padding is great, and the etip is a cool feature"

Sweet Glove Durable!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

My 6 year old pair of these finally gave out, so I replaced them with the new model. The fit is the same as my old ones and they seem just as high-quality. It seems like the Velcro closures have been improved and some reflective material added. They are cool enough to ride on hot days mountain biking, and I like them in the fall on my road bike. Really happy with these.

Awesome Padding

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

I have used these gloves for a while now. They are perfect for the fall and early spring. They are a medium weight glove that has a ton of padding on the palm. The main reason I got these gloves was for the padding. My hands always seem to get sore while riding in long fingered gloves. However, with these my hands are just fine. That extra padding on the palm really helps dampen road vibration. Also, these gloves are pretty snug fitting which is great because my hands are not sliding around inside the glove while I'm braking or shifting.

The only downside to these gloves are that they are a bit stiff and take a while to break in .

That's good construction and they should last, not a downside. For me the pads wear out too quick on other gloves, (won't mention names here) but these will be effective for a long time. pbwy
