AmFib Cycling Tight - Men's

You may be a minority out on the road in sub-freezing conditions, but that's because you're the only one prepared for the possible horrors of winter cycling. While you're hammering, the occasional driving passerby wonders what mystical secrets you're privy to, but really, all that's needed are a few winter staples. The first and foremost in needed protection is the ultra warm, breathable Pearl Izumi AmFib Cycling Tight. Sorry to put the secret out there, but hopefully now, you'll have some company out there in the flurries. 

Pearl Izumi's AmFib Cycling Tight is made from a blend of Pearl's Elite Softshell and Elite Thermal Fleece fabrics. These fabrics were selected in order to ensure a hand-in-hand system of consistent warming insulation, effective moisture transfer, and protection from wind and water. The Thermal Fleece fabric handles thermo-regulation and wicking, whereas the Softshell material has been interspersed in key exposure areas to eliminate element intrusion. The two fabrics coordinate effectively, so much so that Pearl Izumi gives the AmFib tight a thumbs up for weather conditions as low as 15 degrees. In case you're concerned of the tight getting too balmy at the upper end of its 40-degree recommended usage, you can ventilate on-the-fly by opening an eight-inch lower leg zipper or its internal draft flap.

Knowing that sub-freezing riding is hard enough, Pearl Izumi wants you to float on the saddle in luxury atop its Elite 3D Chamois. The chamois uses a variable density padding that's been pre-shaped to enhance blood flow. Additionally, its breathable, four-way stretch material creates an abrasion-free surface that conforms to the body as it moves away moisture. And while a comfortable chamois is a necessity, nothing guarantees comfort like a precise fit. To ensure this, Pearl designed the cut to allow full articulation during cycling. The lower leg also follows a contoured shape that leads to an integrated stirrup and a gasket that allows the tight to be worn over a shoe. Not only does this streamline and secure the fit, the design retains an uninterrupted insulation layer. Pearl also added 360 degree reflective accents for safer night riding.
