Item # PAR0015

Your old wrench was alright for kid bikes and stuff, but get serious.

The Park Tool PW-4 Pedal Wrench is the only pedal wrench worth owning. Oversized handle is plenty long for leverage. 15mm offset openings at 30 and 45 degrees so you can easily remove pedals at any angle.

What's Expected from Park Tool

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

There's not much to add to the other comments - this is an excellent pedal wrench. Gone are the days of raiding the tool box to find the exact size to fit your pedals. With the classic Park Tool blue, you won't be losing this. Very easy to use and a great addition to any bike tool kit.

Best wrench ever, better than an impact

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I couldnt get the pedal off, impact wrenches, hammers, stupidity! Why didnt I buy this wrench sooner. Stepped on the opposite pedal, used this wrench and voila! Worth every penny!

Swap Pedals with Ease

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

If you have struggled to remove a pedal with a wrench or a pair of pliers then look no further. I use the PW-4 to swap flats for clipless pedals on my bikes, my fiancee's bikes, my neighbors bikes and whoever else comes asking. Whether mountain, commuter or road bike this wrench is thin enough to get between any crank and pedal and heavy enough to provide the required leverage to pop the pedal loose. Great for a bike shop, your garage or tool box (if it can fit a 15 inch wrench).

    Great Wrench

This is the perfect tool to remove pedals. It is thin so you can contact just the flat of the pedal without damaging anything else and the long handle makes removing pedals that have not been taken off in years easy.

Pedal wrench simply gets the job done

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

This pedal wrench is bigger than I expected. It's very sturdy and could probably double as a self-defense weapon. I suggested this to the wife but she didn't think it was a good idea. Whatever. The handle is plenty long for getting all of the leverage you'll need on stubborn nuts. Switched out my pedals last night without much effort, and the two openings is an appreciated feature for versatility.

    Full Size Fun

I love this wrench!!! No more banged up knuckles. Super tough easy to use. Did I say I love it yet!!!!

    Yes, the only pedal wrench...

Park sells two other (less expensive) pedal wrenches. You're here; you're a serious rider. Absolutely buy this pedal wrench.

      Doubles as a battle axe..

Even when we went to Honduras I made sure I packed this tool for putting on and removing the pedals on our bikes. A crescent wrench doesn't cut it. Have you ever seen someone whose pedal falls off while riding? Yeah, they didn't use this tool while putting on their peddles.

      Very Pro

The word professional is in the product title for a reason.

      So pro!

I used a 15mm wrench on pedals for years. I was swapping some pedals on a buddies bike. (Who shall go un-named, as he is of the "fix it (only) if it totally breaks" mentality. Long story short, I ended up breaking my Craftsman wrench trying to loosen one of his pedals. I picked up this wrench a few weeks later. It had enough "oomph" to break loose the old pedals. It's such a simple tool, but it's super nice to have!

      Park PW-4 Pedal Wrench

Consider me a convert. After years and years of using The OG Park Pedal wrench with a 9/16 on one side and a 15mm on the other side and using the 9/16 only once or twice I decided it was time to switch. What a glorious transition it was too. No more repositioning the cranks for a better angle on the wrench flats and no more squinting to see which side to use when in a hurry. Hopefully the girlfriend doesnt figure out how great this wrench is and decide that she would rather have it than the new PW-4 I bought right before handing her down my old pedal wrench.

I'm about to do exactly the same thing with MY girlfriend!

        worth having

i have the pedros wrench and the park wrench. both are nice for sure. its kind of one of those tools you dont want to shell out the money for, but glad you have it. especially if youre cheap like me and have fewer pedals than i do bikes.

Works great, what else can I say?

It does just what you would expect it too. The handle is a heck of a lot nicer than the cheap version that have no coating.
