Works for RF Aeffect Cranks
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
The tool you need to pull those RF Aeffect cranks off. Can't go wrong with the quality or the price really. Your LBS will have this on hand obviously but it's nice to have in the garage and save yourself a trip to the bike shop when you need to tighten the BB, clean the drivetrain, etc.

Easy enough
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Easy enough, great crank puller and worked perfect on my Race Face AEffect cranks on a Santa Cruz Bronson C. Needed it to install my MRP Chain Gaurd and hopefully won't have to use it again, but happy to have the tools I need to do a little work on my bike. Can't go wrong with Park Tools, trusted favorite by many of the great mechanics out there.

Yes, it's a crank puller
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
This is one of those things that you don't know you need until you need it, and you really need this specific one, then you might never use it again. This tool is for ISIS/Octalink Cranks only so make sure that you get the right one. Does a good job of getting the crank off there which is something you don't have to do to often. Nice and small so it won't take up a lot of room in your tool box until one of your buddies needs to borrow it. Matthew Pizza Expert Gearhead mpizza@backcountry.com 801.736.5363

This is a crank pull and it pulls cranks
My crank was pull by this. I am satisfied. Getting one with a handle seems a little unnecessary since you can just get one with a hex adapter instead.

If you need one, get one!
Ohai. Nice tool for a decent price. As everyone says, the key is making sure it's threaded well in before you start cranking. It operates smoothly as long as you don't try to rush it. I used it to pull apart a beautiful FSA gossamer crankset that I'm cannibalizing for my single-speed hill bomber project and now I wish I had more excuses to break out the tool. It's a pleasure to use and it's highly effective. That's all I have to say about that.
