OTTOLOCK Cinch 30in Combo Lock

When you're just pedaling down to the corner store for a quick snack, don't break your back by bringing along a monstrous chain lock. Instead, whip out the Otto OttoLock Cinch 30in Combo Lock for compact, lightweight, yet reliable protection.

More secure than a cable lock and much lighter than a U-lock, the OttoLock Cinch is designed for short-stop security and protection against theft opportunists.  A multi-layer steel and Kevlar band design makes it extremely cut-resistant against conventional theft tools like wire or bolt cutters, while the Santoprene plastic and Cerakote paint won't scuff up or damage your frame's finish. The resettable three-digit combo code is easily customized to your own personal number, while the coiled design and extremely low weight lets you stow this lock in your saddle bag, backpack, or even your pocket easily.

  • Compact, lightweight bike lock for quick-stop security
  • Kevlar, steel, and plastic make for a cut-resistant design
  • Three-digit combo code customizes your password
  • Coils down to 3 inches for easy storage and transport

***Do Not Buy*** Jammed

I've used it several times

Bought 3 of these for each of my kids. One jammed within a year the other after a year. Each time the correct code was entered, the button depressed and the lock would not release. Left my kid stranded...twice. Had to cut both off, however cutting them was not very difficult.

Lasted a little over a year

I've put it through the wringer
True to size

I've had this lock since April of 2020 and unfortunately it stopped working a little over a year later. It was great when it worked--lightweight, super durable and packed down easily into my back jersey pocket or tucked away in a backpack. For a $50 lock I was hoping it would last longer, but unfortunately the lock is completely stuck at this point. UPDATE: I contacted Ottolocks customer service and they are sending me a new lock, free of charge. The breakaway button was activated on my lock, rendering it unusable.Thank you Ottolock! They have great customer service and I am stoked to have this lock again, it truly is the best one that I've found in terms of size, strength and function.

Love this lock!

Great for a quick lockup when running errands or on my commute. Easy to use; easy to carry, and the orange color makes it easy to see & find in my bag. Bonus: it complements the color scheme of my retro-style commuter.

Lightweight Lock

I've used it several times

It's a strong lock considering the weight of it and is resistant to hand tools, but be careful. Thieves with power tools or strong cutters can get through it. It can also be picked as well. It's adequate if you need to run into a store really quickly or you can lock it some place where it's still in eye shot, but do not leave this thing overnight or you will have a broken lock and no bike.

Handy...Easily picked

I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

This is a very handy lock. But it is easily picked with a shim to push the teeth back that look into place on the strap. Similar to opening a zip tie without cutting it. There's a video on YouTube of it being done. The manufacturer likes to focus on the strength of the strap in their advertising, which is cleverly directing you away from it's flaw. Use the lock, but don't go very far for very long.
