Item # OSP005P

Swerve with the verve.

Whether you're bobble-heading down a root-riddled hill in central Vermont or navigating the aspen-lined singletrack of Colorado, the Osprey Women's Verve 9 Hydration Pack is equipped to provide on-the-go hydration throughout the course of your trail run, hike, or bike ride. Designed to be worn while in an upright or position, the Verve 9 is outfitted with a foam framesheet that disperses your load across the ventilated mesh backpanel while the BioStretch shoulder harness ensures a women-specific and contoured fit. Additionally, the webbing hip belt is removable should you desire to shave off some ounces and the top compression straps offer load stabilization. The included 2.5-liter Hydraulics Reservoir is fashioned with a magnetic bite valve that mates with the sternum buckle to keep the hose secure when you're bouncing around the trail. Not to mention, the pack has the holding capacity for snacks, a small first aid kit, and an extra layer for when you need it the most; the LidLock keeps your helmet close at hand when its not in use.

  • Foam framesheet
  • Ventilated mesh back panel
  • BioStretch shoulder harness
  • Removable hipbelt
  • Top compression straps
  • Multiple pockets
  • 2.5-liter Hydraulics reservoir included
  • LidLock helmet attachment

How to Measure:
For best results, have someone take the measurement for you.
Torso:
Start at the iliac crest (the top of your hipbone that you can feel like a shelf on the side of your body). From this level on your spine, measure to the C7 vertebrae, the knobby bone at the base of your neck when you put your head down. Make sure to keep your back straight while having the measurement taken.
Hip:
Measure around your hips, at your iliac crest, not your waist.

Osprey Rep

Great pack for day hikes

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I bought this pack for mid range day hikes. My first use was to the Great Gallery in Horseshoe Canyon. It was perfect. Mine actually has a 3 L bladder, which is ideal for me. I was able to fit snacks, small sandwiches, and a rain jacket in the compartments, with a little room to spare. Subsequently, I have taken it on several hikes in Southern Utah, and I am always stoked that I made this purchase. Another great Osprey pack and a super deal from Backcountry.

small yet useful

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I bought this back in 2013 to use for XC skiing day trips. Mine is a little different looking than this bag-but essentially is the same. The bladder has its own little compartment that slides in nicely. the other part of the bag fits my MontBell ultra lite down jacket to keep me warm when i stop for breaks. it fits my jacket, a long sleeve, lunch (like some snacks and a flattened sandwich). i can always jam more in there than i think, which is nice. there is a little top compartment which i by accident got engergy goop all over so it was rather sticky for a while. the hydration hose as a nifty magnetic piece on the chest strap so the hose is always handy for quick sips. i added a neoprene sleeve to my hose and cap so in the winter my hose wont freeze and i wont die of thirst! the outside of my bag has little straps which have held down a little seat pad and another little cubby for sunnies or more snacks. i love this bag-its held up strong over miles and miles of ski trips, little day hikes and bike rides. i love it and over the years its held up really well. besides goop, dirt and sweat i dont have any rips or snags. its nice and light but durable.
