Siskin 12L Backpack

The Osprey Siskin 12L Backpack has one goal: to keep you riding in comfort. The Atilon foam framesheet gives the load structure so the weight can be evenly distributed across your body, while the AirScape backpanel provides excellent airflow between your back and the pack to keep you cool. Osprey included its Hydraulics LT 2.5L Reservoir to ensure you can carry plenty of water with you on your ride, and that your bladder will interface perfectly with the pack. The U-zip main compartment grants you access to internal organization options with plenty of space to store your tools, layer, snacks, and other gear, while hip belt pockets and a sunglass pocket keep small items where you can easily find them. Dual side compression straps eliminate excess space to streamline your pack, or double as extra straps to help the LidLock attachment secure a full face helmet.

perfect for tall women

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

At 5'10 and 133lbs, I was in search of a backpack that properly fit my long back that I could use for cycling and hiking. The Backcountry team suggested this bag and fits perfectly and I LOVE the moss green color, super cute! Very lightweight and carries everything I need.

Great Bike-Specific Features

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I previously have been using an older CamelBak Lobo, which works well but has minimal gear storage space, and I needed something bigger for road trips or longer rides. This pack is of excellent quality, you can tell it was designed specifically for mountain bikers. It has enough room for any tools I need to carry, plus holds an extra layer, snacks and my camera gear. The magnetic clip holds well; I've never had the bite valve break loose yet. I run a gimbal and GoPro on my chest while biking, and I was concerned about the magnets being too close to the gimbal and messing up the electronics inside it, but the sternum strap sits way higher up on the chest than I thought it would, so this isn't an issue at all. A little pricey compared to larger, non-biking specific packs from Osprey, but it's worth it, as this pack sits tight on your back, doesn't get in the way, and doesn't move around much unless the trails get really rowdy.
