Description

Almost as essential as your mountain bike.

Whether you're mounting up for a cross country loop or crushing downhill runs at the resort, shoulder the Osprey Women's Raven 10 Hydration Pack for an unrivaled fit and easy thirst quenching. The three-liter Hydraulics Reservoir is shaped to match the profile of the back panel for improved balance and less sloshing, while the magnetic bite valve keeps the hose from whipping around when you fly down steep straightaways. Although fairly compact, the Raven has plenty of room for a light layer, a substantial snack, and all the tools you need to get your bike back to the trailhead after a mid-ride breakdown.

  • Women-specific pack for long mountain bike rides and quick day hikes
  • Included hydration reservoir limits sloshing
  • Supportive and breathable back panel encourages mobility
  • Removable pouch secures bike tools
  • Helmet carry system gives brain buckets a secure home

How to Measure:
For best results, have someone take the measurement for you.
Torso:
Start at the iliac crest (the top of your hipbone that you can feel like a shelf on the side of your body). From this level on your spine, measure to the C7 vertebrae, the knobby bone at the base of your neck when you put your head down. Make sure to keep your back straight while having the measurement taken.
Hip:
Measure around your hips, at your iliac crest, not your waist.

The do-all pack!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I use this pack almost daily. Whether it's mountain bike rides, to quick day hikes, this pack is incredibly rugged, and functional! I can fit 2L of water, a leash, a whole first aid kit, my dog's booties, snacks, sunscreen, extra lenses, wallet, phone, keys, and knee pads! I almost forgot all the tools I bring in the bottom pocket because I forget they're there. I can fit 2 CO2 cartridges, a multi-tool, tire levers, chain lube, and a tubeless repair kit. All stored in the removable tool pouch, super handy when swapping back and forth between biking and hiking so you can easily shed the extra weight, without forgetting an essential on your next ride! The hipbelt pockets are perfect for car keys, and doggie bags. The magnetic chest strap for the hose was such a good idea for biking too, I can leave the bite valve open without ending the ride with a wet hip. At the end of each outing, I take out my phone and wallet from the top pocket, and replace them with my workout sunglasses, and they've stayed safe and sound even while getting tossed around in the back of our car. The only upgrade I would suggest is getting the $7 quick connect system so you don't have to remove the hose every time you refill the bladder.

Thank you so much for the review, Kirsten! I super appreciate how thorough it is!

My go-to pack for day hikes

Best camelback I’ve ever had!

I mostly use this for hiking and I LOVE it! 3L bag is perfect for the length hikes I typically do. I like the size of the pack, shoulder straps sit nicely. Enough pockets for snacks, keys, phone, and more. Bag itself incredibly light. Highly recommend

    Great hiking pack!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I gave this to my sister as a gift, here's what she had to say: "I bought this pack for hiking, and while I know it's designed for biking, I've really loved it as a day hike pack, because it's not too big. I'm small (4 foot 11) so sometimes finding packs that aren't huge on me can be a struggle, but this pack is perfect! Because I don't need the tool section for bike tools, I turned it into a first aid kit that has the barebones basics for dealing with small blisters, cuts and scrapes while hiking. I haven't gotten the chance to try my first aid kit on the trail yet, but seeing as how often I used my other first aid kits while hiking, I'm sure it'll get it's use! The 3L water bladder is also awesome. Plus the pack is cute, which, let's be real, still matters!"

    Great hiking pack!

    Best hydration pack out there!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Bought this for my mom and she loves it! I have the Raptor and love it as well. I use mine as a hydration pack on long MTB rides. She doesn't ride so she takes the gear pouch out of the bottom pocket and uses it to store sunglasses or other things she needs while hiking. The bladder it comes with is great can hold a little over 3 liters if you fill it to the max line. Super comfy on your back and the hip strap pockets are easily accessible even when pedaling! The best part is the magnet strip that holds the hose in place on the strap when not in use. It keeps the hose from bouncing all over the place. Just enough room for a light rain jacket/snacks/sunscreen. Great pack!

    Five star pack

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This is a great day pack! I use this on all my mountain bike rides. There's enough room for a jacket on those chilly descents, a granola bar and honey stingers, bike pump and all the tools needed to fix a flat tire and keeps me hydrated with the reservoir included. I also use it on day hikes and its perfect, the fit is great and the colors are so fun. Can't go wrong with this pack.

Amanda, thank you for the review on the Raven. I LOVE mine!

    Bike Much?

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I am a stickler for "the perfect bike bag" I have been using this for several years and have really put it through the wringer. My #1 priority is being able to have 3 Liters of water- this is a must! From there I want there to be enough room for my tools, food and spare layers.

On a typical day, I seem to always be the over packer and have this filled to the gills. I found that with a full 3 liters and a spare jacket and snacks it sometimes feels almost too small. It's the perfect size for quick rides but always feels small on longer objective all day rides. Which is why I am now debating going up to the 14 liter for longer weekend rides.

I like to always be prepared, and this is perfect for half day or less rides but the longer excursions it gets a bit full. I also use this for quick hikes with my dog so I have enough water for the both of us.

But sizing aside, it's an amazing pack. I really like the tool compartment on the bottom of the pack. My one complaint is that after several years of over stuffing- I'm starting to see a little wear from where my multi-tool sits inside and rubs, but then I have been over stuffing it and it is on the bottom and several years old. I really love the quality in Osprey packs!

    Great Size, Great Pack

Bought this for my mom to use for biking and hiking. The size is perfect for what she needs. She also really likes the rich purple color!

      all around great bag

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

great for guys with small torsos and dont mind purple! also can double as a day hiker bag. perfect amount of pockets and the hydration system is one of the best ones ive owned.

      Great for biking!

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I have used both Dakine and Camelbak packs while mountain biking but this is my favorite. The stiffness of the bladder keeps it from bouncing around while descending like I have experienced with other packs. I also enjoy the roll-out tool compartment that can keep your tools from inadvertently putting a hole in your spare tube. I have packed this thing for 50 mile rides with food, a water filter, full reservoir, tools, pump, CO2, jacket, and other random necessities. I was amazed at how much I could cram in here! I liked the hip belt to help take pressure off the shoulders. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was a few times the small zipper pockets on the hip belt came unzipped. Since this was where I normally stored my keys, a small problem could have become a big mess if my keys had bounced out. Thankfully they didn't!

      Just what I wanted!

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This is one of my favorite Osprey Packs. Why? Lid lock keeps my helmet secure, zippered access to the hydration sleeve is so easy, and the reservoir is the best I have used, and especially with the magneted bite valve.

I love the pockets and organization of the Raven, especially the tool roll. The fit works great on my short torso and the aesthetics are fantastic. Beautiful and functional for sure!

      Perfect minimal hydration daypack

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I love this pack! Everything about it is high quality and well thought out. Osprey's hydration systems are always amazing and top of the line. This pack seems small, but it has the perfect amount of storage for a day hike or ride. I like that the design is pretty minimal with not too many pockets or buckles. The main pocket has enough room for extra layers, food, and a hammock. :) This pack is also really comfortable and fits well. The hip straps and sternum straps provide a great fit and support. The Raven 10 checks every box for me! The color is beautiful in person too.

      Perfect minimal hydration daypack

Thanks for the thorough review and beautiful pic, Megan! We're lucky to have you as part of the community :)
