Dyna 6L

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I thought this was perfect for my 12 mile jog. The lower front pockets were perfect for a sunscreen stick, bug spray and my foldable fabric dog bowl. The zippered pocket was perfect for my iphone. All items were easily accessible without taking off the vest. The rear pockets are roomy and can fit my packable rain jacket with snacks. I wore this with a long sleeve running top and had no issues with rubbing or chafing. My only complaint is it seems I received one that was previously returned. It didn’t arrive in any packaging (besides the shipping bag) and one of the front chest clips is missing. I don’t feel like dealing with the exchange process so I contacted Osprey for a replacement strap.

DYNA 1.5 Woman's trail running

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I wanted to like the new women’s trail running Dyna 1.5L as I liked my previous Dyna pack. Unfortunately the new design is not very practical. Cons: The new material is very scratchy The medium size feels more like a large The bottles sit too high in the front pockets Nutrition placed in the front pockets is hard to reach The whistle needs to have a stretchy cord and be accessible The back reservoir slashes too much since it doesn't have the support of the old Dyna on the back The sides pockets are hard to reach too It feels heavier than the previous version Pros: Nice looking model Good front clips to adjust and hold the pack to your body The front zipper pocket is large and easy access It seems sturdy Unfortunately there are more cons than pros, but I hope Osprey rethinks this design with something more practical. I own several Osprey packs and this one just doesn't step up to the plate when it comes to their awesome products.
