Why We Like The Micro Two Saddle Bag

We love a candy bar or an energy shot at the 25-mile-mark of our 50-mile Saturday ride, but we're not into bulky bags that weigh us down on tough climbs. That's why we're turning to the Micro Two Saddle Bag. It fits snug as a bug under our seat, and it's the perfect size for our critical items.

Durable, Easy to clean

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

Taken this on many long full-day technical rides. My full suspension bike is an XS frame with 27/5 wheels and a 130 rear fork. With my dropper fully down, my tire does contact the bag on big impacts. With that being said, this is a great bag and the seat attachment design is awesome. The bag doesn't bounce around at all. I have the smaller 0.5L size and usually fit a tube, CO2, patch kit, multi-tool, levers, zip ties, and chain lube, so I would say it holds more than I expected.

Great for dropper post!

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I was looking for a saddle bag for my gravel bike without a seat post strap since that strap obstructs the dropper post from compressing to its full extent. This one seems to do the trick and so far has been holding tight!

Perfect!

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

Had this for 18 months, put it through 4500 miles of gravel riding. It's perfect. Keeps my stuff from getting wet. Easy and quick to access on the side of the road. Plenty of space but can be expanded or contracted based on how much I want to carry. A very slight looseness at the clip where it connects to the bike, which sometimes rattles a little, but it really is not noticeable anymore -- Maybe I have gotten used to it. Highly recommend!

Functional But...

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I was excited to find an option allowing me to carry spare tube, multi-tool, CO2 cartridges, snacks and such so that I could ride without a backpack. This served that purpose, however, it does not work well on an MTB with any degree of Rear Travel on playful down hill sections. I have experienced hitting some rollers where this product catches the rear tire and just rips right off. This would probably work very well for rigid bikes, but I would not recommend them for those who love to ride the playful down hill on a full travel MTB. Luckily I noticed this on some local trails quickly, and I will be selling my used Ortlieb for this reason.
