Description

Tubeless Sealant

When the trails start to dry and it's time to store the skis, it's a good reminder to top-off the sealant in our mountain bike tires, so we can hit the singletrack without fear of punctures. Orange Seal seals up punctures in our tires with a lasting plug, so we can keep riding without interruption.
  • A tubeless sealant to protect against and repair punctures
  • Sealant creates a permanent plug to keep your tires rolling
  • Durable formula won't leak through thinner sidewalls

Great sealant

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I've been running road tubeless for about 2 years now. I started off with the Orange Seal Endurance formula but I found it takes longer to seal and too often sprayed sealant all over me and my bike. With the Regular formula I've never had it fail to seal a puncture, and it does so quickly without spraying everywhere. I've lost count how many times I've punctured and been able to keep on riding without even needing to give extra air in my tire. One occasion I pulled a 1 inch piece of 14 gauge copper wire out from the inside of my tire after my ride. It sealed in a matter of seconds when it happened on the road. Stopped one minute to check it and rode on. On another occasion about 10 minutes into my ride I pulled out a bent finishing nail that had lodged in the rear tire. I spun the tire and it hissed for about 1 second and sealed up. Finished my ride and used that tire for another 1000+ miles. One thing to note, however, you need to be diligent about checking the sealant and topping it off every 1-2 months. It does dry out faster than the Endurance formula, but for me it's worth it for superior sealing abilities.

Orange Sealant is fantastic

Familiarity:

I’ve seen other sealants after months in a tire and it just leaves a layer of mess and boogers in the tires. Orange sealant does a great job of staying liquid and cleans up really well. Now that would make you wonder about its sealing abilities but so far it hasn’t let me down.

I like this stuff because its super sticky. I use it everything, on my bike tires for tubeless setups, my eggs for an extra bit of tang, squeaky hinges, mix it with my tomato sauce for pasta fridays. The stuff is incredible, never ever have I had a flat experience, so if you’re thinking of changing your dishwasher detergent I’d switch to Orange.
