Skinwall for the win

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Not only do these tires look good but the performance is definitely top notch compared to other aggressive downhill tires. Had a bad sidewall puncture slice on my rea tire so I turned to these to add a bit more style to my bike. Not only do they look good but they corner very well and have a ton of grip on all kind of conditions and not to mention the skin sidewall has held up very well compared to my last tire.

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

skinwalls are the bike version of a 1957 Bel air with white walls. If you dont know what im talking about then these tires just might not be for you.

These tires are classy and retro yet still rip. similar foot print to a Maxxis Highroller, they roll quick and have substantial grip. waiting to see how the actual sidewall holds up compared to a classic black wall

Trying something new

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Honestly, I bought these tires for two reasons.
1. I wanted to try something new for the sake of testing,
and 2. Vanity. The color scheme just worked with my Evil Calling build.
I'm here to say that these tires are fantastic. I am running it F and R, and if you are a fan of the High Roller, but wished there were a few more intermediate knobs and some bigger knobs in general, this is your tire. Relatively fast rolling, and feels like a true 2.4 mounted up. excited to get into some different soil conditions, but so far in Salt Lake valley and Southern Utah, they have been great.

Slap yo' mama awesome

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

When I purchased these tires I knew they looked cool and had potential to up my shred game, but did not realize how impactful they would be on my life.

On the first trip to the trails, it was clear the skinwalls alone bought me like 5mph, which was perfect because it allowed me to escape from everyone else's jealousy.

On the second trip to the trails, my wife left me because of my new love affair with rubbery perfection.

I have no regrets about this purchase and can only hope that other people experience this kind of excellence.

High Rolling

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Love this tire. Very similar to a tread pattern from a not to be mentioned competitor, but this one comes in a skinwall, which is my favorite. Sidewalls are beefy, tread rubber is nice and tacky and yet seems to be wearing well.
