Modern 1x drivetrains are almost perfect, but even the extremely occasional dropped chain can ruin a race, ride or flow trail. I usually drop chains on my XC bike when I'm in the highest gear and take a chunky descent. I bought this to ensure it doesn't happen again. Installation is stupidly simple and the kit comes with everything needed with the included shims I was able to get enough clearance at both extremes on the cassete. I really like the sliding mount to adjust for chain ring size. It's pretty light weight and made of really tough plastic. Seems expensive but worth every penny

Is the ISCG05 Bash the bash guard and guide combined? The image and description are misleading but the price is consistent with the guode/bash combo.

Don't get dropped

This is a set and forget component. As a real OneUp fan it was a no brainer to add this to my bike. Dropped chains are mostly a thing of the past but it's nice to have a small, light and simple assurance it definitely won't happen especially if you are drawn to the rougher terrain and high-speed chatter. Prevents dropped chains!

An easy to install chainguide that prolongs the life of your drivetrain and virtually eliminates chain drop. It comes with black, and green guide, as well as a bunch of different shims to get the proper spacing.
