Run/Bike Go-to!
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
I'd been in the market for some running and biking glasses and came across the Sutros. I was a little bit hesitant at first because they seemed like they might fog up in certain conditions, but up to this point I haven't had any issues. They came in a high-quality hard case, with a microfiber bag as well, which is nice for when I need to chuck them in my bag for travel! I've put in a bunch of miles running in them and haven't had any issues with them. They don't bounce or slide off of my face like some of my other glasses would while running or Mountain Biking. They also fit really great with my Bike helmet, which is a plus! The Prizm Trail lens does a great job of providing contrast and keeping my eyes from straining. As long as they fit well with your helmet, I'd highly recommend these for running and/or biking! The lens is pretty large, so if you have a smaller face or prefer smaller lenses then I'd look into the Sutro S!

Great sunglasses
Got these sunglasses for biking and skinning and they work great! They fit well under my helmet and provide solid coverage. They're comfortable to wear all day. I definitely recommend them!

Great to see a USA Olympic version. I was a bit concerned not having vents would make them fog on rides. No issues after a few rides.

This glasses are perfect. I wear for cycling and running. Having the Oakley Prizm technology not only helps me see well in sunny Colorado, but as a road cyclist the reflective lens lets drivers see me a little better and that is always worth it. Oakley's always have a perfect mix of comfort and security on my pretty average round head. These have quickly become my go to for all things outdoors. Plus I think I look really good wearing them.

The best of it kind! Great for cycling

Bought these for road cycling, to add some style, and end up wearing all the time. The over-sized lens is covers the whole eyes area completely with clear visibility. The Prizim lens are my fav. from Oakley.

They’re great but I had to return them because apparently I’m allergic to the unobtanium nose piece. The lenses are amazing for the record.

Vents are a bad idea
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times

Bought the vented sutros and love the size, look and coverage for cycling and trail running. Unfortunately, the vents are directly in your line of sight when riding (especially climbing) really distorting my vision. Will keep for running and Nordic skiing but they get 👎🏻 For cycling.

I totally agree. They impacted field of vision and did not work out when going fast. I now only use the vented lens (origins collection) for XC/ski touring and they work great for that.

I've got a smallish head (size S helmets) and these glasses fit my face well, are very comfy and have great optics (not surprising from Oakley). Love the style. Would absolutely recommend.

On the Oakley website it says it comes with a hard case. Does CC send a hard case with it as well?

On/Off Bike Style
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
Bought these for MTB, however I find myself wearing them off bike just as often The oversized lens is great for visibility and completely covers you field of vision. The Prizim lens defiantly help increase clarity. Only downside is that they get dirty/fogged up easily

Hey Ben, looking to buy for MTB use as well. How do they perform in lighting conditions where you're moving in and out of the woods, from super bright sun to shade?

I bought these for mountain biking and love them so far! The large coverage is great for sun and debris protection. The Prizm Road lens is a perfect medium-tint lens for any light conditions while road biking or mountain biking.

What do you mean by unobtanium nose piece? Thought it was a toxic material, so I looked it up and still don't see how it fits into describing the nose piece. Just curious.
