Why We Like The Corsair Mountain Bike Shoe

We like the Corsair Mountain Bike Shoe for its enhanced grip and lightweight construction that's perfect for trail riding. A natural rubber tread provides outstanding pedal grip and feel, and large mesh inserts with soft fabric minimize pressure while allowing for breathability. Micro-adjustments can be made with the SLW3 dial, which fully releases with a single button. Protection from bumps, roots, and rocks along the way comes thanks to reinforced PU heel and toe enhancements.

Comfortable and (too) flexible!

Familiarity:
I returned this product before using it

I ordered two pairs of these shoes in sizes 47 and 48. I found them to fit true to size (NW had a nice size chart on their site). The 47 was the suggested size and it fit well though a touch more length might be nice. The shoe is well made and very comfortable. The overall quality is on par with most big brands IMO. These are not for the racers or anyone who wants a stiff performance shoe. These are for more casual riding or Ebikes. I ended up returning them because I felt they would be too flexible for a person my size (260lbs) when mountain biking where much of the time is spent out of the saddle. I would be happy to use them for road, gravel, path, and commuter rides where you spend the majority of your time in the saddle. They would probably work well enough on short MTB rides. I also tried the NW Rocket Plus and NW X-Trail Plus shoes. I found those to be a little more suitable for someone my size. I'll leave a review for those on here as well.
