Description

Don't be left in the dark.

Pack the powerful illumination of the NiteRider Lumina 900 Boost Light when you're squeezing in a late-night ride across the star-lit countryside, commuting across town under the neon glitz of urban skyscrapers, and rolling down rocky singletrack after sunset. Projecting an astounding 900 lumens from a compact, bar-mounted design, the Lumina 900 Boost Light casts broad illumination, so you can navigate across the darkest streets and trails with ease. Five different lighting modes and daylight flash modes adjust its light output and run time, customizing its use to a number of different riding scenarios.

The included handlebar mount fits both standard and oversized 35-millimeter bars, with the ability to clip this compact light to your helmet with a separately available mount. Its rechargeable battery is powered from an included USB cable, rapidly powering up with NiteRider's IntelliCharge feature. A Lock mode prevents it from accidentally turning on during transport and travel. IP64 water-resistance withstands passing showers and outside moisture without ruining the light. Additionally, there's a low battery indicator, so you're never left in the dark without notice.

Top 5 pieces of gear I own

I've put it through the wringer

Ok so I'm not a gear head, don't have the flashiest components or carbon wheel set. But I ride as often as I can and have learned a good component, tool, or piece of gear especially when it comes to MTB. This light is nice because it works as a super bright flashlight for camping, nice dimensions and button action. I don't have anything to compare it to. I've had two of these and never owned another setup. Have had awesome support from Nite Rider, and absolutely love the vision provided by one or both of the lights (usually just use helmet and keep backup in pack). I have a lumina 750 also and it is all I used for years. Grabbed this one just because the price was right. Helmet mount is awesome, not heavy or awkward whatsoever, and keeps the beam locked/stable. I never even think about it on the trail. As the other review states it is an easy device to charge. I guess compared to other riders I ride with, I just seem to be fiddling with my lights less, and maybe some setups are brighter but I would say the lumina series is rock solid and more than bright enough on low settings. I use the brighter setting for the fastest descents only. Mine never heats up, and holds its charge extremely consistently. Another cool thing is it's easy to adjust the angle of the beam, or aim it straight down if you're talking to someone or approaching another trail user. Why write a review for a bike light? Because I like it that much... And forget about it, night riding is one of my favorite aspects of mountain biking.

This light is awesome. It is lightweight and pretty compact. I find it charges quickly and holds a charge for the entire time I'm on the trail. I use this as a helmet light and pair it with another light on my handlebar. This makes for the ideal combination for riding singletrack at night. I think this is the best light for the money.
