Great Value Carbon Post
The Niner Carbon Seatpost has been a real win for my gravel bike, which previously had an alloy post. It absorbs vibration well and has held up well to use with a seatpack for bikepacking trips.

Niner's carbon post looks great paired with my Niner bike. But beyond those good looks performance-wise you could as for a better post. The post strikes a nice balance between putting watts down and comfort over the bumps. Plus it's lightweight and not nearly as expensive as other carbon posts. The slate grey color is, in my opinion, covert enough to rock on any bike not just a Niner.

- I've used it several times
This was my first go around with a carbon seatpost and likely my last. About 10 rides in on flowy mountain bike trails the seat post snapped in half midride. Not a fun hike back. Will be sticking with aluminum going forward. Certainly not had that happen with any of those. Frustrating for the premium price paid for this.

No set back :)
- I've put it through the wringer
This seatpost worked great for me, I need it to take the setback of my saddle and this been carbon, made my life easy. Technically speaking I have no clue, it does however allow for angle adjustment of the saddle and once snugged, it has not moved. Looks? well, it just looks awesome.

GOAT IS GOOD
- I've used it several times
A bike build meant another seatpost purchase. Used that as an excuse to buy the green trimmed version carbon post and the green trimmed stem for a ti 29er hardtail with bits of green peppered throughout the build. Aesthetically, I think this is a cool addition helping to complete the ?look? I was going for. I?ve got Thomson posts on most of my bikes and an Easton carbon post on one. I can?t say I can tell the difference although I?m partial to leather saddles for comfort so maybe the post is immaterial for me(Brooks and Selle Anatomica generally support my derriere). Post needs to hold a saddle and adjust easily enough. This does that. Going with 4 stars as weight and price is on par with a Thomson post yet I don?t think the house brand niner post enjoys the same bombproof reputation that Thomson has earned?

Purchased this seatpost in hopes of upgrading and decreasing weight on my RIP 9. However, I had a Richie which I found to be lighter, surprisingly. Anyway, after installation, I tried it on my local trails and course. It is Great. It does help reduce vibration and reduces fatigue at the end of a ride for my behind. It looks great on my raw RIP as I have red accessories where I can. I would recommend it, despite the weight gain on my bike, in this case.
