DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!

I have been using Nathan vest and replacement bags for ten years, and suddenly this hideous monstrosity appears to suck my money down a rat hole. The tube does not detach. Who at Nathan thought this was a good idea? Do they still work there? If you're used to the quick release mechanism on the siphon, do not be fooled into thinking this is a functional alternative. The top of the bag doesn't open, and there's no manual. I see I"m not alone...I wish I'd read the warnings before wasting money on this.

1.5L Hydration Bladder

Bought this as an easy cleaning alternative to my Nathan insulated bladder. It works fine but the tube you drink from does not detach so it’s incredibly difficult to turn inside out to clean and difficult to get it completely dry.

Disappointment

Had to use a hammer to connect the tubeset. Bladder was sealed, how can I open it? Would I had ordered the 2 liter version again

What is with the tube??

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What is with the new tube design??? I thought I was doing something wrong with trying to attach the hose to the bladder. I lubed it up and pushed with all of my might. Terrible design! I asked multiple people to try, thinking I was not doing something correctly. No luck. I tired to put water in anyway to see what would happen and the tube instantly came off. I have a race coming up and was wanting to have my bladder ready to go. I contacted both Nathan and Hydrapak and a replacement is coming. Holding my breath to see what I receive. If it is not quick release it will just go in the trash. Why are you even still selling this model??? I am extremely disappointed. I love my Nathan vest and original bladder but the "update" is awful.

Disappointed, Lost Features

Disappointed in the new 1.5L bladder. The old 1.5 liter bladder had a quick release valve, to easily remove the hose for easy cleaning. The new bladder does not have a quick release valve although the bladder itself says "periodically lubricate O-ring for plug-n-play" - there is no O-ring/plug-n-play. The hose is not easily removed/inserted from/to the bladder. Very disappointed this has gone backwards in usefulness. The 2.0L bladder does have the quick release valve, wish it continued in the smaller version.

Hydration bladder came sealed shut

I received the 1.5L hydration bag, and it was sealed shut with no way to put water in it. I had to cut it to get it open which means one of the locking sides is off. I am hoping they will send me a replacement bad that Is not sealed shut because I am racing Pikes Peak in three weeks, and I have to be able to use my vest!

Hose doesn’t connect, water leaks everywhere

I usually love Nathan brand. Got a new bladder to replace my original Nathan bladder. The hose will not connect to the bladder no matter what I do and I let multiple people try it. Finally got it in as much as I could, start my run, the hose pops out and there’s goes all my water for my run. Very disappointing

Tube connection defect.

The tube doesn’t fit in the bladder. You have to use force to get it in and out. Immune came already inserted in and I wasn’t able to get the tube out.

Leaks just like the reviews said

In spite of reading all of the reviews about this bladder leaking, I was hoping that mine wouldn't be the same, but it is. I wanted to buy from a reputable brand and have the bladder that I knew would work with my Nathan vest (which I love) but it leaked from day one. I tried lubing the connection from the bladder to the straw but once I start running it leaks pretty bad.
