Break up your routine.
Nalini it's a well-known brand in U.S. cycling, but the small Italian firm crafts some seriously clean kit — think straight lines, minimal accenting, and rich fabrics — and somehow manages to still sits quietly in the background. We're optimistic that the brand may get its due yet, however, and pieces like the Men's Long-Sleeve Crit Wind Jersey stand to earn it some much overdue attention in races and training rides.
When everyone else is zipped into the same standard thermal jerseys during the last few races of your local crit series, the Crit Wind Jersey makes quite an entrance. The jersey's almost futuristic lean gives nod to its fully modern suite of features, which take advantage of how far fabric technology has come. Air Moa Medium comprises the main body, and the supple thermal fabric comes finished with Nalini's Moa Manto water-resistant treatment with light rain showers and misty summits in mind. To protect you as you're stretched out over the saddle, Nalini adds a wind-resistant panel to the back of the jersey, as well as three rear pockets constructed with allover reflective fabric. The fabric appears subtle in daylight, but radiates light when hit with headlights in the dark. A slender nod to a radio pocket on the inner lower back of the jersey hangs onto an ID or cash, and a wide, flexible silicone gripper holds the bottom hem of the jersey in place as you move around in the saddle.
