Luxury Chamois Cream

There's nothing about avoiding chaffing and saddle sores that seems luxurious, but Muc-Off aims to change your point of view on that. The Luxury Chamois Cream makes the process less of a chore and more enjoyable, while maintaining the friction-reducing performance you need from your cream. Natural ingredients (including aloe vera, witch hazel, shea butter, and sunflower oil) provide a mild cooling sensation that reduces irritation and keeps you comfortable throughout your ride. Anti-bacterial properties help prevent abrasions and hot spots from becoming sores—keeping you on your saddle longer.
  • Reduce chafing and saddle sores in luxurious style
  • Provitamin moisturizers nourish your skin
  • Anti-bacterial to minimize sores
  • Light scent helps prevent odors on long rides

Petro chemicals for your junk

I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I threw this stuff out after one use. First off, when it was delivered, the smell permeated our whole house - I had to put it in the garage and open the windows. The scent is something like your grandma's perfume drawer exploding, and it is unbelievably persistent... it took three washings to get it out of my shorts. The worst, though, is that the ingredient list is straight out of a chemistry lab (petrolatum tops the list) - pretty much what you would expect to find from a company better known for making solvents and synthrtic lubricants. But it's not what I want on my nether region. Shame on me for not researching it more carefully, but one wonders why they seem to go to such lengths to conceal their ingredients when other chamois cream makers publish the info prominently. Maybe they are ashamed. But at least they publish this warning and chemical hotline number: KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. CHEMTREC: 1-800-424-9300, 24 HR.

Great pre-ride cream

After years and years of using Assos chamois cream, i found this to be quite better ... spreads better and application would avoid " double dip " like the assos ones. Also this smells way better than any other cream out there and lasts more too for the price.

Long Live the King

I've used several different brands of chamois cream over the years. I founds one that I really liked some years ago then the company went out of business. Moved over to ASSOS and that became my go-to until I discovered the Muc-off/Athlete Performance chamois cream. As everyone else says in their reviews, it smells great, the consistency is really nice, it gets the job done, and most of all– the much larger tub at only $2 more the value is amazing. Just like Casey K said in their review, I had to go back to ASSOS when this was out of stock and before I even finished that tub I bought more of this to get back to my favorite.

i usually buy 2

I've put it through the wringer

most of my purchases are small parts or nutrition related things. because of that im only ordering every few months on average since i get deals on gu stuff from them. that being said this has been in my cart pretty consistently since trying it when euro chamois buttr wasnt in stock. the bigger tub is nice, the consistency is perfect, the smell is a bonus, washes out easily, and no issues in that area with it

This Product Causes Scabbing

I've used it several times
True to size
Size Bought
250 ml / 8.4 fl.oz
5` 10"
165 lbs

I bought Luxury CC in April 2020 in a tub sized 250ml 8.4 fl. OZ, to compare it to a product that has worked well. When I apply Luxury CC as recommended, it immediately has a warming/hot sensation that imparts to undamaged skin. After two uses in 30 to 40-mile bike rides and showers afterwards, skin dryness and itching (and almost scabbing) are the result on the third day. Did I get a bad batch of it or an old expired tub? The label is stamped H14E8A. I stopped using it for 2 weeks and went back to my previous product for 2 weeks, and things cleared up - while riding every single day. Three days ago I tried using Luxury CC again to see if things might be different. They aren't. I feel I wasted nearly $20 on this product. If the company Muc-Off Ltd or Competitive Cyclist wants to send me a fresh tub of this cream with a postage-free shipping container to send back this almost unused old tub, I will give the product another chance and post new results. This product smells great, but as is, you are better off using no cream than using this cream. I rarely post reviews, but don't want others to experience the discomfort I have gone through.

im gonna guess you got something weird or have a personal reason why this doesnt work well for you. what ingredient differences are there between this and your other cream?

The Best I've Tried

I've used it several times

So far I've tried SNB, Assos, and a blend made at my LBS, but this is absolutely the best I've used to date. Really nice packaging, pleasant smell, and does the job.

Better than Assos!

I've put it through the wringer

Yes, I have tried A LOT of chamois creams. When this one was out of stock everywhere, I went back to my previous fave and benchmark, Assos. I then realized that I *really* missed this product. It smells great, though that's just a bonus. It is the perfect consistency, washes out easily, and does its job. It has not let me down yet. The tub is quite large, so is good value, especially if you score a sale. It has a hint of that menthol tingle, so if you don't like that, it might not be the right product for you. However, that goes away quickly. I highly recommend this and have stocked up in case it gets out of stock again!
