Good Stuff

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I do a lot of road riding, and have tried a lot of different lubricants. I'm pretty impressed with this on my road bikes. I followed the directions, and cleaned the chain prior to use ( I used 91% rubbing alcohol from Walgreens and a toothbrush to just scrub the junk out), and then applied fairly liberally, wiped dry and allowed the chain to sit as recommended before riding. Before riding, I touched the chain to make sure it was dry, and found it to have the same feeling as the lube from a new chain; while riding, I found it was quiet for 200+ miles. some were wet miles, but the majority were dry. Where I live in central NC, there is some dust that accumulates on every ride. It has done a good job with keeping a lot of it from sticking. what does stick, has wiped of quite easily. I'm on the 3rd application and the experience has been the same from the first (I clean again before re-coating since it really doesn't take that much time). Not sure how this does for MTB riding, but for road, I find it to be quite solid. P.s. the light is a good toy for my kids...

Fantastic Lube

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I couldn't be more impressed with this lube. Compared to other lubes I've used in the past, this lasts at least a few rides (in dry conditions). If you apply it at least an hour before a ride (3-4 hours is recommended) it will penetrate perfectly and have you pedaling with a silent drivetrain. And if you follow the instructions, it really doesn't attract dirt/dust much. A quick wipe down with an all purpose cleaner every few rides and re-applying and you'll be able to go weeks or months without having to deep clean your drivetrain. Super impressed and will continue buying and using this lube for mountain and road riding.

Not impressed

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

Being a lube aficionado and someone who believes in a perfectly clean, maintained, tuned and well running drivetrain, I cannot get behind this lube. I've read tons of feedback from forums as well as scientific testing from our friend over at ZeroFrictionCycling and the results for this lube are more or less spot on: it's just not that good. The biggest issue is chain noise and the lube itself either washing off too easily, quickly, not penetrating deep enough and simply being either too viscous or not formulated well for daily riding in general conditions. I find Dumond Tech Lite to be an outstanding lube that I've been using for years. Rock 'n Roll Gold is also a star of the show with perhaps more frequent applications and better suited for gravel vs. road (but RNR is amazing for road as well). The goal of a great lube is to: keep your drivetrain well lubed, reduce friction, reduce noise and prevent dirt as best as possible. While the Muc Off C3 prevents dirt, its noisy and doesn't last. And I'm riding in bone dry California weather. 3/5 for me, I'll keep playing with it on another bike but not a premiere lube especially for the price. The UV light is a cool gimmick though :)

Surprisingly good!

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

I've never really noticed a difference when using different lubes. However after applying g this lube I noticed a much smoother and quieter ride. Definitely will continue to use this!

Better than other top rated dry lubes

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

This is way better than Finish Line Dry Lube. My chain absolutely purrs with this on. You want to make certain that you get all the extra lube off or it will still attract trail dirt. I am sold on Muc-Off and will be recommending this for sure. Also, I like that the small cap on the applicator screws on. I put this in my frame bag (inside a zipped plastic bag) and had no issues with any leaking.
