Ride the comfort wave.
When you spend two-thirds of your day holed up behind the glow of a computer screen, the sensation of your Mizuno Men's Wave Enigma 6 Running Shoe pounding the pavement is a welcome, albeit somewhat masochistic, feeling. Ideal for longer road runs, the newly updated Enigma 6 boasts pliable Dynamotion technology and semi-stretchy mesh, which when combined, encourage an adaptive fit.
In keeping with its pillowy roots, this shoe features a plush U4icX and U4ic midsole to ensure springy impact and responsive, run-long comfort, which translates into consistent cushioning over the course of many miles. A strategically placed, full-length Wave plate disperses shock throughout the shoe—rather than concentrating the impact on one area of the foot. And the extended Wave Plate (in the midfoot) provides torsional rigidity, while the X10 outsole ensures added traction.
- A lightweight, cushioned trainer for longer runs
- Semi-stretchy mesh upper with Dynamotion Fit
- U4icX and U4ic midsole
- Full-length, extended Wave Plate
- X10 outsole for enhanced traction

Liking So Far
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
- Fit: True to size
- Size Bought: 11
I am not an avid runner so please take my review with a grain of salt. I got a chance to first use these running along the beach boardwalk and was impressed with the support and cushion. This is my first pair of running with this much drop but I quickly adapted and I'm starting to like the feel.
True to size for me. I was able to buy the same size as my previous pair of Asics.
