Wild Enduro Tire
The Michelin Wild Enduro Tire has already proven itself at the highest level of the sport as the tire of choice for several of the 2018 Enduro World Series Champions, including the legend himself Sam Hill. These front and rear specific tires are designed to provide maximum grip at high speeds, regardless of trail conditions and outside temperatures. Wet or dry, hot or cold, the Wild Enduro hooks up in corners and provides excellent traction while braking. And thanks to the strong yet lightweight Gravity Shield casing that's specifically designed for enduro style riding, you'll enjoy substantial protection against jagged rocks that are just waiting to slice open your tire.
As mentioned above, these tires are front and rear specific. The front tire is available in two different rubber compounds. Magi-X is a softer compound that prioritizes grip above all else, whereas Gum-X uses a slightly harder rubber that rolls a bit faster while offering nearly the same level of grip. The rear tire is available in the Gum-X compound only, and sees the addition of Pinch Protection at the bead to increase rigidity and minimize pinch flats.

Do not waste your money!
Tires were on sale for a good price so I figured I would try them out. I had a shop set them up for tubeless. Tires were going flat in between rides. I brought them back to the shop and they found that sealant was seeping through the sidewall on both tires. They did what the could to prevent me from having to buy new tires. I would have to add air before every ride as sealant continued to seep through sidewall just at a slower rate. After many flat tires well out riding I had enough and purchased new tires. I am now out the cost of the tires and the install fees.

Torn Bead/warranty a challenge
I owned this tire for 3 months and 200 miles before the bead tore in a 4 inch section. It was on flat ground on a smooth part of the trail and had not been damaged prior (only 200 miles or less of ride time). Attempted to warranty directly with Michelin and was asked to take to a bike shop for an inspection. The first person who opened the case for me was fantastic, however my LBS has been trying to settle this for a week now and has not been able to reach someone that can finish the claim (02826286). They’ve been dropped from calls more than once and have now resorted to email. They also told me that if this had been any of the other major tire manufacturers they sell, I would have had a replacement tire in the mail, no questions. A real shame, as the tire was my favorite over the competitors prior to the warranty experience. Traction and rolling resistance was fantastic while it lasted.

Griiiiip

- I've put it through the wringer
These things grip like crazy. This is my second set. I run the Magi-X front and the rear on Ibis S35 rims, and have absolutely no complaints. They grip better than the 2.5 EXO DHFs I had on before at all lean angles, seem like they roll faster, and give better protection to the rims. They wear pretty fast, but they keep gripping even when the side knobs start getting chunked, so I don't really care. I like that the front is light and the rear is reenforced, seems like the right way to make tires.

As good of a rear tire as there is for PNW enduro
I think this is the best rear tire I've found for all conditions. It isn't as fast as a Rock Razor, Minion SS, or E.13 SS, but it's not far off, and it brakes better. It rolls better than anything else with more knobs, but still corners very well. It is a great all-around tire and I'll be hard-pressed to want to put anything else on the rear for a while. I am finally starting to tear some corner knobs, and I did puncture it early on, but it's been running like a champ with a plug and some sealant for many miles since. It still works very well despite it's age, and is a great tire for when you don't know whether the trail will be dry or wet. Again, another tire (like the Enduro Front Gum-X that I would take as a primary tire to a multi-day enduro stage race. Michelin knows what they're doing.

Phenomenal grip super strong
Got these tires on my new bike as OE. Have been on dhf and dhr tires for a long time. Where I would have a puncture in other tires or lose grip these held on strong and ha e yet to let me down. The amount of confidence on off camber sections is unreal. Will 100% be sticking with these for a long while.
