Item # MIC005N
Item # MIC005NFast-rolling without sacrificing durability.
Designed for the rigors of competitive enduro racing, the Michelin Force AM 29in Tire fulfills the needs of riders thrashing their tires across demanding terrain with hard-packed dirt littered with jarring rocks and roots. It's a bit faster rolling than many tires in the "all-mountain" category, making it ideally suited for running in the rear with a slightly more aggressive tire up front. The Trail Shield casing is ruggedly reinforced from sidewall slashes and abrasive punctures on notoriously technical trails, courtesy of its high-density protection layer.
Michelin's GumX3D compound strategically employs three rubber compounds for the best in fast-rolling efficiency, tread longevity, and tenacious cornering grip. As expected, the center features the hardest rubber compound for faster rolling and greater tread longevity. The rubber compounds get softer as you work towards the shoulder knobs for tons of cornering grip when you're laying into turns and carving around sweeping berms.
- All-mountain tire with fast-rolling tread pattern
- Trail Shield casing features high-density reinforcement
- GumX3D compound balances rolling speed with cornering grip
- Tubeless-ready for gaining bump compliance and traction

Is this a wire-bead sidewall or some other material?
HI RTR this is not a wire bead.
I recently was out ripping on this tire with one of our demo bikes. I can't believe more people aren't using this tire. Excellent grip and fast rolling, you won't be disappointed.
Great deal on rubber
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I am never stoked on buying tires but these were a great bang for buck purchase in my humble opinion. Great traction and did I mention what a good price .?.
Surprise!

These are actually pretty good. After wasting a few hours and 8oz / $15 worth of orange Seal, I finally figured out that Trek Bontrager "Tubeless Ready" wheels still need to be taped. Once I taped the rims, these tires were easy to install, and the combination of extra width, light weight, and lower pressure running tubeless really made a big difference in the ride and traction on my daughter's Trek Excalibur 8. These tires are a great deal, and worth a try.
bought to try out
