What Mercury hub series is this compatible with? I have a set of X1 Carbon Enduros which i believe has the 772 series hub. Would this be compatible?

Hi Devin, I believe these will work with your X1 Carbon Enduros but you will want to check the serial number on the rear hub. If the serial number starts with a T, this free hub body will work. If not, you have a different hub. If you still need help figuring what hub you have this website should help you troubleshoot: https://mercury.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360041400214-MERCURY-HUB-REAR-VISUAL-IDENTIFICATION

Cheap.

I've put it through the wringer

This driver comes with the enduro wheel set. I am sad it can’t hold up to the abuse enduro riding dishes out! I am replacing my second one in just over a year. The palls literally shred into tiny pieces. I don’t have the cash to replace my wheel set so it looks like I’ll be stuck buying these guys every year.

The driver seems well made and has worked perfectly. Went on easy.

What Mercury wheelset do you have? I have an X1 Enduro carbon wheelset and I'm thinking of replacing my Shimano freehub to XD.

Check your hubs

The 6 pawl freehub does not fit the hub on the enduro alloys. Now I have to return it. From the picture, the 3 pawl ones looks correct. So I guess I'll find out

Looks like it works great, but there's no info on this site about how there are several Mercury hub models. The G1 wheelset I bought last year didn't work with this item, it didn't fit. I had to go to the Mercury website to realize that there's an older model of hub which req'd a XD driver shipped directly from Mercury. Absolotely no info about this on this site. If the model # etched on the side of your hub starts with a T, I'd check out the Mercury website and maybe contact them to see what you need.

I recently converted over to a lighter XX1 cassette on my Niner RLT and the Mercury XD driver allowed me to use my current wheelset. The driver seems well made and has worked perfectly.

Hi Brett, Out of curiosity why did you rate this at 3 stars?
