Maxxis' cult favorite tire, the Minion, is working its way into every cycling tire category the company offers. And we think the reasons are obvious to anyone who's ridden it. The front-specific Minion FBF EXO/TR 26in fat bike Tire retains all of the go-anywhere burliness and reliability that made the enduro version so popular, but it's adapted to the world of snow and sand.
The Minion FBF offers an impressive mix of grip and speed because it's constructed with the same aggressive, squared-off Minion DHF tread blocks you'll recognize from trail and enduro versions of the tire. Like those other iterations, it stays glued during trail or off-trail rides through mushy snow and mud and is especially adept at holding its own while cornering. On smooth singletrack, groomed snow, and the occasional paved trailhead approach, the 120 TPI will keep the tires from dragging.
