Double Down places a butyl insert within two 120TPI casing layers, maximizing protection from harsh hits, technical terrain, and sharp rocks, albeit with a weight penalty over EXO versions.

Looking at the preferred conditions for the High Roller II, its open and aggressive tread maximizes traction across a wide variety of trail surfaces, from loose-over-hard to medium-packed dirt and soggy soil types. Modified shoulder knobs really dig into the underlying soil and rock, improving overall traction and braking control at high speeds. This particular version of the High Roller II features 3C Maxx Terra compound, which is a triple-compound rubber that's hardest along the base, layered with softer compounds for maximum control when you're railing corners and dropping into rocky terrain.
