XA 29in Boost Wheelset

The now industry accepted Boost hub spacing improves the bracing angle offering improved lateral stiffness letting the wheels confidently track through rough sections of trail and carve berms with authority.

Mavic constructs the rims from extruded S6000 aluminum offering maximum strength while keeping it light over punchy climbs. This will have you charging technical sections hard without dreading the fire road climb back out. The internal width is a healthy 25 millimeters allowing the XA 29 the ability to support modern trail and XC tires in the range of 2.0 to 2.5-inches. A hookless rim profile lets you get the most out of your tubeless setup and it comes with Mavic's tubeless rim tape and UST valves, so you can run them with tubeless tires straight out of the box.

Mavic bearings are renowned for its smoothness and reliability and the sealed cartridge bearings keep your wheels spinning smoothly while keeping rain and mud out so they stay that way season after season. This wheelset gets 24 straight-pull, double-butted spokes front and rear for excellent ride quality and less rotational weight. The hubs are designed for 6-bolt rotor mounting and options include freehubs for Shimano HG or SRAM XD use.
