Looks cool, works well, but scratchy

    Familiarity:
    I've used it several times
    Fit:
    True to size

Love the cut of this base layer - the angles compliment your torso's position on the bike. The mavic logo is very cool and present when you unzip your jersey, and the mesh definitely makes hot days easier. It also has a gripper on the bottom to keep it from ever riding up - which is nice. The problem here, and why I returned it, is that the fabric is very stiff and hard, making the stitches and stitching, which bulges out and impacts the skin, even harder and more uncomfortable - particularly in the upper back where the mesh is sewn to the fabric. It was harsh and itched and I found it uncomfortable enough to return it to look for something smooth and nice on the skin. There's enough pain in cycling, you don't need your base layer adding to the suffering.
