Get out and ride.
Designed with hard-charging, course-shredding, cross-country racers in mind, the Mavic Men's Crossride SL Elite Shoes feature a fiberglass-reinforced nylon sole and Contragrip rubber lugs for efficient power transfer and grippy traction. A reinforced toe cap protects from errant rocks and trail debris and increases durability for confidence that these shoes will weather the miles.
Mavic incorporates strategic mesh paneling in the Crossride SL Elite's upper for a dose of ventilation and breathability that keeps feet cool through dusty summer rides. The Ergo Comfort + Tongue evenly distributes pressure across the top of your foot for a comfortable fit, and an Ergo Ratchet strap spans the top of the foot while two hook-and-loop straps cross the midfoot and forefoot to dial in a customized fit that's easily adjustable on the fly.

Which is wider, the crossride wide or the Sidi mega?
I normally wear an 11.5 4E and ordered the 12 in these and they are just fine, plenty of width and very comfortable in the toe box.
All Around Great Shoe
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
- Fit: True to size
These are my go to shoe for connecting my shoes to my pedals. The shoes fit true to size, have adequate ventilation, and are quite comfortable. Two velcro straps and the ratcheting ankle buckle provide the right amount of adjustability for whatever your ride plan for the day is.
The sole is stiff enough to be efficient and with the rubber lugs on the outsole you have plenty of traction for those hike-a-bike situations. So far I've taken these shoes through every type of terrain and dirt substance imaginable from sand, snow, and mud and have had zero durability issues.
Mavic's customer service has been phenomenal too. I broke a buckle (in travel of all things, not riding) and they were super fast at sending a replacement. I use these with spd pedals on both my mountain bikes, and a cross bike and I don't plan on switching shoes anytime soon.
Replaced my specialized with theses, so far so good!
Replaced my specialized comp mtb with these. Fit true to size, blue and black color is welcomed difference from plain black.
