Item # MAA000B

For when the mercury really dips but you want to forgo the leg and knee warmers that'll instantly become soggy and heavy right after the gun goes off at a muddy 'cross race, comes Mad Alchemy's Madness Hot Warming Embrocation. This is the warmest formula from the brand and it's recommended for temps 40-degrees Farahenhite and below and has a slow burn that'll last for the duration of your ride. Mad Alchemy also suggests trying the mellow or medium embro first before diving all in the madness if you're an embro newbie. Not just for the legs, a small amount on the neck and lower back can provide some additional warmth and much-needed muscle relief on hard rides.

Mad Alchemy uses natural, preservative-free ingredients like grapeseed and soybean oil and West African shea butter for skin protection and an unrivaled aroma. It's also petroleum free, doesn't test on animals and it's almost vegan free, minus the beeswax.

Please note that Mad Alchemy recommends avoiding contact with light-colored clothing as it may cause staining.

  • Embrocation for cycling in the coldest temperatures
  • Scent awakens senses and gets you ready to go
  • Mad Alchemy is proudly based in the US
  • Not recommend for the embro newbie, please try milder first
  • May stain lighter color kits

I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Hotter than hot! Only if you think you would enjoy holding a jalapeño between your cheeks while sitting in the saddle should you consider this. Alternatively, use just microscopic amounts. One tub will last a lifetime.

But embrocation is NOT chamois creme. I hope you know the difference...

I've used it several times

I actually use this on my midsection with a waist trainer while doing cardio to shed extra water weight when I'm retaining water and it's LE-GIT. It is not uncomfortable at all! I can only imagine how awesome it would be for cold weather. I will be trying it on my feet for snowboarding. Great find!

Did you end up trying it on your feet? If so, how did it work? I get cold feet so often, I was hoping this would help.
